I'll take the Sancho deal at this stage. He plays on the left which is where we're weak with Mudryk and have one less player there if Sterling leaves. Pedro Neto can play left but is better on the right.

That's a really good deal tbf. Can see why a collection of people would think that's too good to walk away from.

If we sign Sancho and he performs reasonably well and if Nkunku stays fit this season to play as striker then we probably have enough in the squad for this season. Nkunku and Jackson to rotate at striker.

Why would anyone bid for him? Arsenal probably sacked the scout that recommended him.

Chelsea have presented their best proposal for Osimhen for their wage structure, but it doesn’t match his Napoli salary. He doesn’t want to cut his salary too much. (@FabrizioRomano @WatchPlayback)

Trying to rationalise this: I've nearly written off Mudryk already and Nkunku I guess could be a striker...

The fact we haven't got a striker in, I suspect Felix/Nkunku will be cover for Jackson.

There's Guiu as well but he doesn't look ready

It's a lot of depth in them number 10 positions/wide areas.

Feel we're lacking a leader at CB and still got two average GKs

Guiu looks more than ready to be backup imo. Strikers miss shots. He will be come more composed throughout the season and will be fine.

So is this the squad (not including marooned cast-offs who failed to find a club in time):

FBs: James, Gusto, Cucurella, Veiga
CBs: Fofana, Colwill, Disasi, Badiashile, Tosin
