Enzo been hitting a couple nice assists recently. I like him in the deeper role but his lack of off the ball ability is more concerning for the balance of the team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He needs to stop being played high up the pitch, he's useless there.

Said before we need to get Reece..hes such a better player than enzo anyway James in that position

The Premier League have cleared #Chelsea's £76.5M sale of two hotels to a sister company. The deals were found to be within an acceptable margin relating to estimates of the hotels' valuation had they been sold to another bidder.

The final deal with Chelsea, no loan fee and a requirement to pay less than half of Sterling's wages, saw them land a player with whom Arteta had developed a close working relationship during three years together at Manchester City.

The end result means that over the course of the season-long loan, Chelsea will effectively be paying Sterling in the region of £10m to play for Arsenal.

After the ridiculous decision to pay him £300k per week when we signed him it was always going to take something like this to get him out of the club. Hopefully he does well enough there to get either Arsenal or another club to sign him on a permanent.

When we offered him 300k per week salary, if only someone had the imagination to consider that we might find ourselves in a situation where we struggle to offload a player on such high wages.

It’s not like we literally had the exact same issue with Lukaku before signing Sterling.

Wouldn't have been bad also if he had actually been playing well. I only remember one purple patch he had when Aguero I think was injured at the beginning of one season and he had something like 10 goals in the first month. But seriously other than that was always surplus to Cities needs

Sterling’s not a bad player. He’s just no better than anyone else we had, and certainly not worthy of that ridiculous salary. That’s on the owners who signed him thinking he’d be a franchise player just because he’d previously been at Man City. At least they are coming round to their senses now on salaries - although they are kind of going to the other extreme. But hopefully once all the high earners are eventually out of the squad we’ll return to some kind of normalcy.

This draper is unreal

Not even dropped a set

posted 2 weeks, 1 day ago

Sterling’s good when he can be ar’sed, which is almost never. Guy only turns it on when he’s trying to make an England squad, he clearly couldn’t care less about Chelsea

Hope we can shift him permanently next summer

posted 2 weeks ago

Vice captain Chilwell needs to be reinstated into the squad. Might as well use him if he's not leaving the club.

all relative but sterling has always been a poor player to me. Ridiculously limited technically. His outstanding trait is off the ball movement, Pep saw this and managed to move the ball so that him (and for a short time sane) would be free at the back post for cut backs and tap ins. Ridiculously effective but outside of peps tactical knowledge he was a severely limited player.

I actually think as a player the best hes ever been was early on at liverpool.

He was good at City because he hardly got involved in the build up play. He pretty much got on the end of crosses and a lot of his goals were tap ins.

To score over 20 goals in 3 consecutive seasons is pretty good for a winger though.

I think he'll be ok at Arsenal and he might be what they need to get over the line.

I do agree that when motivated he was not bad for us. Of course motivation should come from the fat paycheck but it clearly didn’t.

But still believe he’s better than Sancho and Mudryk and will do better than both this season.

Really not seen anthing to impress me about Sancho at all...as for Mudryk - he's just a poor footballer period

He’s gonna finish Arsenal’s top scorer.

There's a list of players for the conference squad on the website...it doesn't include Cole Palmer Or Enzo Fernandes, plus Colwill is on list B...whatever that is

What the hell is that about then
