There's a list of players for the conference squad on the website...it doesn't include Cole Palmer Or Enzo Fernandes, plus Colwill is on list B...whatever that is

Enzo’s in the squad. Was only Lavia Fofana and Palmer

Just wondering what people think the chances are for Andre Santos coming back into the squad. Not that I watch Strasbourg, but I read that he’s been excellent so far this season. He scored a couple of weeks ago, and then last weekend was voted into the Ligue 1 team of the week. Seems like our central midfield could probably use his help, with Lavia injured and Enzo not yet finding form.

I mean he was, but I agree with CSTP that the club were probably looking to offload him anyway, part of the reason why Marseca was "such a good fit".

Was a difficult situation. On the one hand you've got Enzo - very talented on the ball, 100mil pound investment, on a long contract. On the other you've got Gallagher - best presser in the league, but free & on a short contract, and they can't play in the same team effectively. It sucks but I can see why Enzo was prioritized even if I don't agree with it.

I'd have kept them both & continued to try & make it work. Sounds foolish but we had literally the exact same problem with Jorginho & Kante (and Kovacic on top of that who didn't complement both of them in a three), and we did alright. Found a manager, Tuchel, who found a working solution.
