Surgery was the last hope for him. But it hasn’t worked.
That’s it. Given up completely now. Absolutely stealing a living at 250k/week
posted 2 days, 19 hours ago
Nobody in their right mind will take him off us at those high wages though, so he’ll be with us in the treatment room for another 3 years or so.

Not claiming to be a body language expert but I was watching Reece closely when he came back this season in training sessions etc on the Chelsea FC YouTube channel and I never got the impression that he truly believed he wasn't going to get injured again. I think he knew it was all over for him already and was just going through the motions before the inevitable.
Tragic as this guy could have been one of the best in the world, probably was in his albeit very short peak for us.

Lukaku anuther gol n ass-cyst yesturday
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He can do it in Italy. Even Pulisic looks good in Italy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
2 ass-cysts knot 1, surry
Y cuddent they do well at Chelsea do u think?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pulisic was too injury prone. He did play well for Chelsea, but then kept getting injured and took ages to regain his form. It’s a physically tough league. RLC was very injury prone too. He’s a much bigger, stronger player, but was consistently injured. I think playing in Italy affords them more space and time, and the game is technical but slower than in England. It’s just better for those particular players. It’s why I think Gilmour will do well there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yer
am interested n watchin Gilmour if he gets much playn time.

James has been training on some level for weeks I'm pretty sure, he was seen in training gear today even. They’re simply taking no risks with him and rightly so after a surgery like that
We all want him back long term so I’d rather this than rush him back and get a half hour out of him followed by another major injury
We’re already off to a better start injury wise than under that useless w’anker Poch so I’m optimistic that James can eventually get there

You guys spoke on RJ like this and when he came back from injury end of last season came off the bench and gave a classic assist like back in the day. I’m probably clinging onto hope now but just gotta give him a chance
posted 2 days, 9 hours ago
I don’t doubt his ability when he’s on the pitch, like that assist you mention.
But what I have lost faith in is his ability to step onto the pitch in the first place.
posted 2 days, 8 hours ago
Exactly, nobody is doubting RJ's ability, he could be the best in the world if only he could stay fit, but he clearly can't.

Im more concerned about lavia,
hes a missing link for us in midfield, weve been without reece for long enough hes become a myth

Yeah I agree. Lavia looks like he could be a real difference maker for us and could be the difference in us getting top four or not.
Was watching a video fairly recently showing his stats for us and how impressive they are. Obviously he needs to play much more so we can gauge him better but from what we've seen he looks special.

Probably why another club actually wanted him. Nobody is going to buy Reece James from us at this rate.

A lot of the fullbacks we sold are doing well at their respective clubs - Livramento, Hall, Aina and Lamprey (can't stay fit though)

Thought James would be ok after surgery but maybe he's just too bulky to stay fit especially for a RB

Yeah, can we just give her a Reece haircut and pretend she's her bro. Reece can wear a wig and pretend to be her for the ladies team. Sorted.
