Also really liking how solid Colwill is looking at the back. Obviously very good on the ball but now showing that concentration and steeliness you need to be a top level CB

Can somebody tell me when man of the match became player of the match... and more importantly why
----------------------------------------------------------------------

gender inclusiveness basically

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It has been and always will be Man of the Match to me. This is men's football and every player on the pitch is a man. If anyone takes issue with that then they can take it to the mental asylum where they belong lol.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I wasn't defending it - just saying why they've changed it.

Same way some publications like Guardian, BBC and Athletic have started calling football "Men's football" to make it equal with "Women's football."
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I wasn't saying you were defending it, I didn't think you were. Was just making my point about it

Sanchez was assured aside from one pass - but had little to face him.

Tosin was professional, likewise Colwill.

Fofana is still worrying sloppy.

Cucurella put in a real shift, helping in midfield, taking a yellow for the team — I am really starting to like him!

Enzo's passing was patchy but he linked up well with teammates and seemed to have a role for once.

Caicedo was excellent: intercepting, passing, covering ground.

Sancho and Palmer were just quiet: nice finish aside.

Madueke is maddeningly wasteful and selfish.

Jackson looked lethal first half, dipped in the second but still really good progress.

No comment on the subs other than their inability to work a fourth goal with all the time and space they had in the last 20 mins explains why they're bench players right now.

Interesting game for Tosin. He quietly looks like he belongs in the side. Just one game though of course.

Fair assessment imo

Actually like the fact we have crappy Euro mid week, to see what Enzo M does with the team

Who here leaves early when we're losing?

I only did once and it was when were 1-3 down to Sunderland and decided to beat traffic.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I used to find the queues not so bad outside of Stanford bridge to be honest. Although we would walk to Parsons Green instead of trying to get on at Fulham Broadway. By that point it was fine.

Colwill has had a good start to the season.

Shame last season he was either injured or at LB

Was that the Sunderland game where we lost our home un beaten record shortly after Wilkins left?

We lost 0-3 to Sunderland under Carlo

Maybe he’s thinking of the 1-3 to Southampton in 2015. When the 3rd goal went in that’s when I knew Mou’s time was up.

Caicedo been so damn good
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Insane transfer fee but looking like exactly what we've needed in midfield to replace Kante
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I could care less about his transfer fee. Footballers are very expensive these days, ridiculously so. But that has nothing to do with him, he's just here to play football.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Couldn't care less, don't you mean?

Nope - how the Americans say it I have noticed

Nicolas Jackson (18) has now scored more non-penalty goals in the Premier League since the start of last season than Dominic Solanke, Alexander Isak & Son Heung-min, Mohamed Salah and Kai Havertz.

🤷🏿‍♂️

That's the one.

Oscar had a corner that went out for a goalkick and I was so resigned I just left.

Have stayed and watch us lose before. But just couldn't face players not trying.
