Biggest difference for me tonight has been our CBs - nowhere near as confident bringing the ball forward as Colwill, Fofana or Tosin

In any case, very comfortable win - well worth the 5 goals and almost certainly should've had more

Which like Superb said is a nice change from the last few seasons

Biggest positive of many positives tonight is Nkunku. Just hope we keep him fit this season. Ditto Lavia as well tbf. We need to actually see these two this season.

I just thought at the weekend you agreed that it was just impossible at this stage to evaluate our team, but maybe that was someone else

Scraped past league two Wimbledon this time last year and I was told performances like that were a player quality issue…oh well

Crucially, two home games. Big question over this team is the same for many years now, breaking down and beating teams at home. We are yet win at home in the PL this season, so I am interested to see how we cope.

Brighton are very open defensively. But they are a very good attacking team that will really test our defence. They won't sit back. I'm thinking 4-2 to either team.

Forest will park the bus and look to frustrate us.

Tbf to Poch he got us to a final and a semi final in both domestic cups, eventually losing to City and Pool.

Based on what I've come across about their manager, I don't think playing Brighton can be used as a good gauge for anything at the moment. Their manager plays a really weird style that neglects the midfield. Some teams will thieve against it, some won't, but it's too new to properly tackle at this stage.

My first impression is to think this is designed to combat coaches exactly like Marscea who see the midfield as the hub of all states in a match, but we shall see.
