A fun fact I learned - the 2004/05 title winners, probably our best team, had the youngest average age of any league-winning squad of 25 years and 250 days.

It's funny we got accused of just being a cheque book team but Ranieri/Mourinho really bought well with young players and built foundations that lasted really until the Munich 2012 CL victory.

Also we had to oldest average squad to win the league under Carlo, 29 years and 95 days

I don't expect consistency from us yet though. I'm happy to enjoy the results but I'm treating them as a bonus for time being.

If we lose we lose. Forest certainly won't be turning up to lose, they already beat Liverpool at Anfield this season so it will a tough game. Just hope that as a fanbase we learn to overreact less to any defeats or bad games that we'll inevitably have.

Despite the ridiculous noise around the club we're neither the calamitous joke they made out we were at the beginning of the season nor the genuine title contenders they're suddenly trying to say we now are lol.

Why should it be? That feels like it takes the joy out of everything with regards to following a sports team. You should be able to let go of reality for a bit. Or even hope for the best even if you don’t quite believe it.

Genuine question for you: have you given up trying to enjoy Chelsea this season? From your comments it feels like your general disdain for the owners has made you a bit bitter.

Well you said the other day that he wasn't great for us apart from his CL Final goal. And that we did well recouping the huge fee we initially paid for him. So you've said what you needed to I think

He’s been a great signing for them.

Good & fair deal for everyone imo.

Still surprised many on here thought we'd struggle to get even 50mil for him though. Making the mistake of thinking managers & directors sees players through the eyes of their existing club's fans.

If that was the case you could chop the value of 90% of the players in the world in half, and increase the value of the remaining 10% by 1,000

I said he was a mixed bag, but far from our worse player or an outright flop, even if I think selling him made sense.

Don't want to get into a row over it again, but I feel pretty vindicated by his performances at Arsenal, and the fact it's taken a lot more than selling him for us to come good.

I think he was one of our better players under Tuchel in the 3-4-3.
