Don, it has nothing to do with who Sky viewers want to see.

Liverpool must have set a record for a midtable team being on that many times.

If ever you thought the Sky Four was dead think again.

D'jeezus, sorry mate but why would sky put these games on, they know the teams they have chosen most would attract interest.

in the future people will say do you remember that season spurs were on sky 19 times

Chelsea are as close to QPR as they are to spurs when it comes to live prem games this season

Don, it is who Sky think people want to see. Doesn't mean they are right.
For instance, I would rather watch Fulham than QPR, yet Sky have shown Bartons mob more often.

D'jeexus, i still find it funny that Sky feel the Viewers want to see spurs more than Arsenal and Chelsea. I'm mostly laughing at chelsea though because Bubbles thinks Chelsea are the greatest club side in the world

D'Jeezus

Spot on. For instance I have no interest in seeing United play Swansea at home.

One of my biggest criticisms of Sky in the past is there anti-Chelsea/Arsenal agenda and they only ever put us on when they think we will lose.

I would bet my bottom dollar that Sky wouldn't show Chelsea v Swansea but they would show us away to Fulham or away to someone like Norwich where they think we will lose.

Sky seemed to have jumped on the bandwagon and this myth that Spurs play the "best" football

We've been on tv more overall though if you include ITV and ESPN coverage

Bubbles, did i say it has anything to do with viewers? read again .....i said " Sky Sky feel the Viewers want to see spurs more than Arsenal and Chelsea"

Meaning Sky believe they will get more viewers showing spurs rather than chelsea

posted on 7/5/12

Sky have only shown Liverpool 19 times to let everybody witness them losing at home, whilst hitting the woodwork 200 times during a game and then there's Kenny's rants.

posted on 7/5/12

i didn't mean the viewers get the decision, i am saying SKY clearly feel spurs are an attractive team to watch and feel the sky viewers would tune in more when spurs are playing rather than chelsea, to true aswell

posted on 7/5/12

im surprised that weve been on sky 19 times, i thought it would have been lower than that as i seem to think we were on espn quite a lot

Sky 4 habits die hard eh (re Liverpool) .
If only WBA could make themselves 'title challenge wreckers' like the Poool potentially can.

posted on 7/5/12

Don't worry bubbles, you're champions league final loss will be shown on Sky so atleast that brings you're average up

Arsenal Broadcasting Revenue = £87.4m

Chelsea Broadcasting Revenue = £101.4m

....

Spurs Broadcasting Revenue = £83.1m

Yes the viewers definitely want to see that mighty midtable club that is Tottenham Hotspur FC over Chelsea and Arsenal

posted on 7/5/12

The reason Spurs have so many games is because Sky thought they were going to be title challengers when they decided which matches they were going to show in the 2nd half of the season. It happened with us last season, Sky thought we would challenge and we were on TV nearly every week. I can't explain Liverpool having so many live matches though.

they show spurs on tv the most so we can laugh at spurs bottling their league position

Yes the "midtable" club in 4th ......that must make you relegation battlers then Check the facts bubbles, spurs shown more times on SKY than chelsea as we are clearly the more attractive team to watch. To be honest i didn't really need this to prove anything because i know spurs are a more attractive side than chelsea .......Oh and stop cheating, that TV revenue is clearly you're champions league boosting the money.

Given the G.oons are the "Morecambe and Wise Christmas special" of that, we have had to fight hard to get viewed then.
