Cups are superb but are always about luck. The league shows you how a side is over a 38 game period and over a season with injuries etc. We are above you and will finish above you and are better than you by a small margin, deal with it

I disagree, Spurs were better than us last year but not this year. We've smashed em 5-1 this year and won more trophies than them this year and got more points than them in the league this year

For football's sake, I hope bayern beat chelsea. Can't have them bore their way to victory. I respect bayern because despite real madrid being the better team they actually went at them instead of parking the bus. Would rather see arsenal in the champions league than chelsea winning it. Imagine what they'd do to the trophy:

Cole would shoot it,
Drogba would fall over it,
Cech would put a stupid helmet on it,

After the Chelsea lose the CL final, and the reality of Thursday night football sets in, I doubt a single supporter in the world would want to trade places with Chelsea.

yes bubbles, that's why Arsenal fans are going to almost explode with excitement next weekend if they get 3rd they sure won't see it as a failure even though they would like to paint themselves as this huge force and feel 3rd is a fail for them. Try looking at the league table and it clearly shows Spurs above Chelsea, proving without doubt who the better team is, because I thought the criteria is the cups mean nothing, the league is the true reflection of how good you are.

Sandy, i love it when the roles are reversed and chelsea fans attitudes are completely different. We have been known as a cup team for so many years and chelsea fans especially always love to give us stick for this. As soon as we show some sort of consistancy in the league in terms of a few years on the trot of challenging the champions league, suddenly they change the goal posts ....any other time chelsea fans would be preaching about the league and how it matters because it's over a long period, how ironic they discount this when spurs are above them
