Interpretation of earned is where my view differs to yours.

I can't see how being in the fortunate position United are in where their commercial income is double that of the 3rd highest English club is "earning" it.

United's debt far exceeds ours or City's. They are £353m in the red. They aren't spending "earnt" money there spending the taxpayer's money i.e yours

United alone get £35 more than us from commercial revenue alone, that is £35m more they can spend on transfers. That £35m could and in all probability would be the difference between where out 2 clubs finish allowing them to cement their place in the top 4.

For years fans of clubs like Villa, Spurs, Everton have bemoaned the "Sky 4" yet it's the likes of United and Liverpool that helped create it.

Without Chelsea and Abramovich I can guarantee you that over the last 8 years United and Arsenal would have been the only winners of the PL.

They were purchased using loans which are being paid off by the revenue of the club, which also funds transfers.

For the first 2/3 months of the season Chelsea were 3rd, I could just say the same thing.

Spurs were never that good or better than us and Arsenal as some of your delusional fans wanted to believe. When you were 13 points clear I never panicked and I'm sure Arsenal fans didn't either. We've experience of being in title races before and know all about the ups and downs of the Prem.
