chronic walcott comes back just as much
theres a reason why lennon hardly plays for you now and hasnt been picked for england since the world cup. its because hes one of the poorest wingers the country has in offer and he wouldnt even get in the wolves team
if most of the other wingers play then the opposition full backs can get their deck chairs out.
You could scout the whole of England's players and struggle to find flair!
Milner is the best option on right. Walcott up front
lennon plays whenever fit... infact we missed him so much when he was out....
to say lennon wouldnt get in the wolves side is laughable.
especially when you are bigging up walcott who couldnt trap a bag of cement.
walnut is also a confessed cheat, and its probably best not to have him embarassing England infront of the world.
Yup. Spurs, the true one man team
Lemon will probably never get another England cap in his career.
correct me if im wrong but arsenal would be mid table now if it wasnt for van persie.
would have had yourselves a relegation battle for much of the season
yes this is the same side that walcott was playing in
im better than lennon. hes faster than me but i can still get from one side of the pitch to the other and i actually do something with my crosses. so im officially better than lennon
unfortunately the goooners have deflected this article from a walcott v anyone who can actually play football debate, to a spurs v arsenal thing.
how sad if not predictable
theo walcott shanks a fair few of his crosses into the stands too to be fair
thats when he makes a cross.. ... a rarity seeing as he dribbles the ball out of play 80% of the time
Same side that's 3rd in the league.
Still be in the same position if rvp hadn't been playing all season
You could scout the whole of England's players and struggle to find flair!
--------------
A.Johnson has an element of flair to him I think, if it hasn't been coached out of him by Mancini. Certainly more than Milner does.
Pretty sure it's just gooners and a lond spur, so not sure who you're trying to address.
dont be so stupid about you would be 3rd if van persie hadnt played this season
you would have lost v norwich to begin with.. and he has saved you countless other times... unless you reckon that chamakh was putting those chances away?
anyway back to the England squad debate, theo walcott is a poor player and he is perceived as a danger man because he has pace.
the fact that he has the technical ability of a league 1 player (generous) is often overlooked
Johnsons a selfish player though. An option on the bench. For this tournament I really do think we need to work on being disciplined and all pulling together as a team, which I feel Hodgson will do
With spurs bottling it, Newcastle having a rough patch mid season, chelsea awful under avb, Liverpool.... We would be the same as we are now: the best of a bad bunch
I don't think Johnson is that selfish. He's nowhere near Sturridge levels of selfishness. I do think he's probably the more skillful of our wingers, which is what we need really, more than these 'safe' options like Milner and Barry.
And regarding Walcott, you're misguided being a
Spurs fan
as a spurs fan i am unbiased and perfectly placed to make a judgement on theo walnut
I take your point, but like I said, Roy hodgsons first tournament with England, little time to prepare, poor players to choose from: play solid, tight, and disciplined football. Quick counters and attack set plays. Boring, yeah but best option we've got
the way arsenal set up means van persie gets a lot of chances. he scores a lot but he has also missed a lot of clear cut chances.
If we didnt have rvp im pretty sure wenger would have got another striker with a similar ability
Hart
Richards Cahill Terry Cole
Carrick Lampard
Walcott Rooney Young
Welbeck
Subs: GK, Jagielka, Baines, Parker, Gerrard, Milner, Crouch
There will be a Wildcard in the striker role.
I think it'll be between either;
Crouch
Carroll
Walcott
walcott is a terrible terrible footballer
