Chronic which English wide player on the right is better than Walcott then?

Aside from Lennon...

Walcott is England's best wide player.
====================================
Lennon is much much better winger.

And no I'm not defending Carroll. He was badly out of form until recently.

"Cryuff + Barcelona made that happen."

How long ago did Cryuff manage Barce? And when did Spain first win their first major trophy? Spain have always been technically gifted but haven't had success until recently.

Saìn† Mal - RIP Adam "MCA" Yauch - by that argument we should definitely pack the squad full of mediocre Liverpool players for reaching 2 cup finals.

The league is the best way to judge teams and their players, and City and united are currently streets ahead of everyone else, while English players other than the obvious starslike Richards, Lescott, Jones, Carrick, Milner and Barry have played quiet(ish) but pivotal roles for their respective club campaigns. If the England team doesn't take advantage of that, then I despair x

Walcott is great. Unfairly criticised.

Walcott is levels ahead of Lennon in terms of development and ability and form.

Lennon isnt fit to be in the same squad as walcott let alone play ahead of him

Chronic I know you don't like Chelsea. That is actually an understatement.

I don't like your lot either.

BUT!!!

I would never say Carragher is better than Ledley King.

That is what you are doing!!!

walcotts current form is that he is performing well on the treatment table.

good thing he cant run or he would be running off the end of it just like he does on the pitch

Walcott is one of the worst professional footballers I've ever seen in the Premier League, especially when you consider he plays for a top team like Arsenal. When he first signed from Southampton I was expecting big things, very excited about a prospective strike force of Rooney and Walcott. Then I watched him on a weekly basis and it was shocking as I'd never seen him play for Southampton, only heard all the media glorifying him. He is absolutely atrocious, with no discernible footballing talent whatsoever. He can't control the ball, he can't dribble (and that is an understatement), he has no vision, lacks tactical awareness, can't pass, sure as hell can't cross and is barely mediocre when it comes to finishing. Just a pathetic footballer.

Britton is terrible as well. Should be nowhere near the squad.

Actually Gerrard would be great.

I can't wait for Gerrard to go up against us in the group stages.
