This is a tongue-in-cheek thread right?
You don't seriously think we have a snowball's
chance in hell of winning or even doing well?
Do you?

Good god no

If we freshen the whole scene up we'll become an even bigger laughing stock

The most uninspiring English team:

Hart
Johnson Lescott Terry Cole
Walcott Lampard Parker/Barry Gerrard Johnson
Carroll

Why is it that just because we're crap, all of a sudden international football becomes irrelevant? If it were club football it would be glory hunting.

I fully aware that we haven't a chance at the Euris, doesn't mean I'm not going to support them though.

Based on his time at Liverpool, Roy prefers a 4-6-0 formation!

Johnson should have been Lw

I`d go with Crouch and Defoe up front, a proven PL partnership

Hart
Richards Lescott Terry Cole
Sturridge Parker Gerrard Young
Crouch Defoe

Bench: Lampard, Lennon, Welbeck, Cahill, Walker, Baines, Green

walcott over sturridge for me

He's been dreadful, shouldn't be on the plane

OP's team is the epitome of average, though there's not much to choose from I suppose. And it won't be 4-4-2

Hart
Richards Terry Cahill Cole
Gerrard Parker Carrick
Sturridge Rooney Young

When Rooney's back obviously.

Maybe Johnson instead of Young

TBK Agreed, Carroll shouldn't be anywhere near the squad. He doesn't deserve to be.

Actually, stuff it, AOC instead of Young.

I think Hart will start in goal

Or Geoff Hurst until Rooney comes back.

Surely Ashley Young is better than Daniel Sturridge?

And Lampard has been in sensational form recently, the Liverpool game summed up how much we missed him.
