Mr. T.

Backhanded! He looks good though, no? Does make me think why he was on the bench all the time. No doubt he'll start next season.

NSMB, yes he was sacked, but he didn't do ''jack all'', he was well within touching distance of the top of the table.

He was sacked because ''it was time for a change'' but his replacement did a lot worse ....

Petrov - exactly..

His judgment proved to be wrong again..

No problem T, i'm still undecided as to whether getting a manager that isn't proven in the division we're in is a good idea, I know he did well at Huddersfield but as I said before he's had a lot of money to spend (for a league 1 club anyway) and it is a division up, I know the difference isn't as big as the Champ to the Prem but it's still a step up. I just wouldn't mind having someone in charge who has been there and done it for a change, (Coyle has once but so did Megson). So yeah i'm not sure, glad it's not my decision.

NSMB - I accept Holloway had a different set of expectations, but to me we're back to debating whose fault it is we went down, not whether going down and keeping the same manager is not likely to succeed.

Surely all we're all bothered about is going back up, I don't care if the person who does that has let his dog fowl my lawn every week for the last 9 months. I don't care who it is, and I'm making a really straightforward point that sticking with a manager who takes you down doesn't stop you from going back up.

Well, again nuns, put that crystal ball away.

Let's see who leaves, let's see who comes in. One thing I will guarantee. The players coming in will be younger than the ones going out.

Managed to be hypocritical in 3 sentences there TRR, top effort

Where have I been hypocritical?

like i said though, they all count. And yeah I watched the game on a stream and that twist and cross with his wrong foot (saying that though we've had him since Jan and I don't actually know which his stronger foot is) that set up Lee made me feel funny downstairs.

TRR it was a waste this season. I have pushed for him to play since we signed him. He has bench warned while others struggle. All I heard was keep the faith with experience and coyle got that call wrong. Could sordell have scored the goals to keep us up? Maybe ngog certainately can't.

What? you aren't making any sense.

His sacking didn't get Boro promoted, far from it actually.

Ok LH

I'll readdress my statement..

" Keeping Coyle won't get us promoted 2012/3.."

All light hearted TRR, just you told someone to put their crystal ball away and then made a "guarantee" about the future.

Oh yeah...that's fair!

Whoops!

Sorry nuns.

Careful Mr T...

Only one opinion allowed..

I think I'm still filtered by MT, but I once again apologised for my mistake...

Whereas it seems he just wants to WUM.

I haven't been on here often enough recently to know what you are referring to I'm afraid.

Onto more important events though, does anyone know if the campaign to make Sordell win the best newcomer award tonight paid off??

NSMB after today the context of opinions has changed again. The coyle goalposts shift yet again

Lads loving bein over here for 7 dyas or so and wont be back for a few weeks, but I wish I was with my own tonight.Lets have a bit of fun on here, air our views etc,but tonight we are all hurting,in fact the result and sunburn is kicking my harris!

The Bolton news annoys me. They printed an article were coyle said the way we play we go to win games and that's why we don't draw. Maybe Marc illes could have queried him and said well two or three draws rather than defeats would have saved us.

posted on 13/5/12

Petrov.

You're right.. The goalposts have shifted..

They always do.. Backing down is not an opinion for some.

posted on 13/5/12

We have reached the point were the only reason to keep coyle is that we might not get something better. For a club witha Premier League setup then we can't get any worse.

posted on 13/5/12

NSM, what goalposts?

I thought we would stay up, so did you a few weeks ago, but that hasn't happened.

I have said in the past that I would keep Coyle on, but I will have very short patience with him, if we are not challenging for promotion straight away, I might change my opinion, but not now ....

im ok nuns dont worry about me.today reminds me of the relegation in 98 where we let what was going on elsewhere affect our performance.we abandoned plan a and draw with chelsea and go to try and win the game but end up losing.in the end coventry equalised at evertonand a draw would have turned out to be enough.today the flatness in the bolton crowd at the news from city definately affected the bolton players performance when the late goal news from city came through i had that deja vue feeling.

Bizarrely, the 6/1 joint favourites to be next Wanderers manager are.... Rafa Benitez and Steve Bruce.

Moses,

Stop jumping on every comment that's to do with Coyle.. It's embarrassing now..
