rio was daft and should accept any punishment he gets, maybe he'll learn a lesson and i hope united and the manager accept it with dignity too. i would hate for the same headlines as earlier in the season but swap liverpool for us.
You clearly don't realise the significance of context
Nobody has backed him. Contrast that with the Chelsea and Liverpool fans and being in the position they've been in I can't understand why they would back their player just because he plays for their club. The club comes first for me and wrong is wrong and right is right. Rio, JT and Suerez were all wrong and all deserve their charge. For a fan to stick up for them just because they play for their club is idiotic.
err.....Rio posted something online and no further evidence is needed. The context was posted right next to it. There isn't anything to discuss or debate or opinion on it. Rio did it.
this article is sanctimonious, navel gazing drivel.
You clearly don't realise the significance of context
------------------------------------------------------------
Case in point. Even now they'll come on and defend him.
Don't you get it? He shouldn't have said it. The FA charge is justified and he should take his medicine.
Liverpool and Chelsea fans. If you've misinterpreted my words I aplogise. I am in no way defending Rio, he is an idiot for doing what he did. Just like JT and Suerez.
Well you've taken the view that JT is guilty despite the fact of there being inconclusive evidence. Nobody knows exactly what was said as it couldn't be proven in a court of law. That's why he's been backed
Considering the whole of Uruguay/south america agreed the word suarez used has no racist connotations, its hard to hate him, but yes i suppose it does mean black when translated which does go against the rules, i just feel its harsh hes made out to be evil by pretty much everyone else.

Idiot. Keep it up and I'll ban you from the post because this isn't about you're circus court case. It's about the FA charge and the fact he shouldn't be saying those words on a football pitch, whether he's repeating them or not. Or do you agree that's ok as well? If so read the original post and fall in line.
yes but suarez was in europe for 4 years do you think he called vurnon anita, kenneth vermeer et al negro at ajax, the whole cultural defence is pathetic in my eyes

Lucas, I totally agree. Suerez has made himself a hate figure because of the way it was allowed to boil on and on. An apology would have killed it much quicker and a club statement to say Suerez was wrong but these things can happen with foreign players would have helped to.
dont threaten to ban people carrickature, unless hes being offensive its sad
There is no video, audio, or nearby player to support the accusations made in either the Terry or Suarez case. So it will be debated, doubted, or thought to be true forever with differing opinions.
Rio tweeted his mistake to the whole world
I you for admitting what millions saw and is on file in servers everywhere is in fact, real.

You're right. All there is is JT and Suerez admitting they said it.
Redconn you're fired. Idiot.
Ban me if you please
That's the point of context, if he's denying the accusation aimed at him then it wasn't said in a offensive manner. And yes i've read your article, your praising United while criticising Chelsea and Liverpool. Difference, what Rio said was there for all to see, whereas with JT it was all based on guesswork. That's why the fans are backing him
I hope he gets punished severely. Hopefully that will make him quit twitter
He's a twt

Do you realise how stupid you're coming across? No one cares why he said it, he shouldn't have said it. And for getting caught on live tv saying it he deserves the charge.
And just to clarify, he admits saying it. He just states he was repeating it. Yet Anton denies ever saying it and no one else heard him say it. Hence Anton wasn't charged. And if Anton had been seen saying it he should have been charged too.

Suarez and Terry admitted saying what was rumored they had said and with Rio it's rather obvious.
Suarez was banned, Terry and Rio should also be punished by the FA.
Of course you're going to give Don Mata the thumbs up Redconn. You're both idiots. But how about responding to the below?

I think Terry could get off to be honest.
I don't like him and I think he's an idiot. But I don't think he's that big an idiot to have said what he said in malice or intending offense.
I guess they could get him on a feeble technicality though.
Don Mata. I've read your posts and basically yours and your ignorant fellow fans defence is the context of what was said?
So in your heads it's ok say what Terry said on a football pitch and be caught on camera saying it as long as you're just repeating it?

I don't care if he does and that's not the point of the post. The point is Rio is an idiot for saying it, Suerez is an idiot for saying what he said numerous times and Terry is an idiot for thinking it's ok to say what he said.
Whether the FA charge them or not is irrelevant. What is relevant, and the point of the article, is that if any of them played for United I wouldn't be backing them. Because they should have more sense than to do it in the first place and my club is bigger than them.
Suerez, as much as I don't like him, wasn't helped by Kenny and Liverpool who I think got wrapped up in some anti United thing instead of seeing the real issue and swatting it quick.
JT just thinks he is bigger than Chelsea football club. And the fans lap it up.
