For Wilshere you will

I'd be more than happy if SAF paid £40m for Wilshere next summer.

what has cleverley done? a average loan at wigan and 2 good games for man utd, and he is 23.

Watford's player of the season?

I know it was at a lower level, but its still not to be sniffed at for a 20 year old.

wilshere was arguably arsenals POTS at 19. you cant compare that to watford player of the year at 20.

Tom Cleverly is a good player dont get me wrong hes just not as technically gifted as Ramsey and Wilshere imo

Ramsey and Wilshere are more dangerous in the final third they can open up a defence with a defence splitting pass, dribble past players, get in behind make runs etc

I didn't compare it. I just answered your question.

SLM, thats speculating that he comes back from his injury problems playing as well as he did before he got them, alot of players are never the same again after long term injurys.

I think Wilshire has more to his game than Cleverly.

But regarding Ramsey and cleverly, Ramsey is a bit better technically but he has no vision/creativity. So many attacks just stop when ball goes to Ramsey, on the other hand Cleverly has fantastic vision and movement. He can open defences with fantastic through balls which Ramsey sadly cant.
The only thing Ramsey has over Cleverly is ball control/technique but not by far.

i have nothing against Cleverley at all, nothing. what i do have a problem with is him being one of the most overrated players ive ever seen. he is like aliadiere x100

did you watch ramsey pre injury? he was better than wilsherre, fabregas said he was the best young midfielderin the world he was so f-in good.

a fit wilshere, can do everything cleverly can do plus more.

I am a utd fan and believe cleverly is going to be amazing for us. But when I watch wilshere i am blinded by his brilliance on the pitch.

No need to exaggerate Rev!
Aliadiere is a league cup legend, Cleverly can only dream of that kind of status

I've gone for 4 stars. I think that Wilshere is superior, but he's been out for quite a while. It may have affected him for the worse.

Wilshere by an absolute mile. Cleverley is decent but Wilshere is a very good player but who will be world-class when he fulfils his full potential.

i forgot to mention

cleverly >> ramsey

Wilshere>Cleverley>Ramsey

Personally I don't think Ramsey was better than Wilshere before the injury, regardless of what Cesc thinks .

I don't think Arsenal fans realise how much his lay-off could affect him. Last season should have been one of his most important in terms of development, but he spent it on the treatment table. He could be out for another half a season if Wenger doesn't rush him back, it's a long time for a young player to miss. I hope he does come back the same though, he's the future for England.

Why people debate seriously about a wum

posted on 15/8/12

How is this even a debate? Wilshere is clearly the more talented player, by quite a distance as well.

Cleverly. (waves him away)

Let me guess Mancs, he reminds you of Fabregas, eh? Similar technique?

and there i rest my case againt wilshere and the fact he may not return the same player.
