Nah Ramsey is way more talented than Cleverly he'll score more goals and get more assists

Ramsey technically is far superior to Cleverly hes got that bit of magic/guile Cleverly lacks

Option 3 for me.

by the way, has anyone actually said that Cleverley is better than Wilshere. Or that he is the new Paul Scholes? Or are these just popular soundbites that people like to trot out so that they can have a dig at United fans/players.

Because, I haven't seen anyone say either of those things.

Tom Cleverly is 24 didnt realise how old he is, he needs to step it up

How much would Wilshere & Cleverley go for if they were put up for sale now?

Wilshire 20?
Cleverley 15?

I voted 2 stars, as i'm a bitter United fan that's... err "bitter" Arsenal have such a talented player playing for them!

Well Wilshere has been running outside for about a week now should be back in full training by end of Sep early Oct

cleverley isnt even beter than ramsey. they are probs the same, and before ramseys innury he was miles better than cleverley and he was better than wilshere. cleverley has never proved he has the ability or potential to be good enough for man utd or england. who was that united cm that got booed and ended up at everton? thats tom cleverley mark 2

Wilshere had a better first season, without doubt, he looked very good for a 19 year old.

A year out does a lot of damage to a young players career though, look at Ramsey.

For the sake of England I hope he is the player everybody thinks he is, and can devlope into a great player.

Cleverly has good movement, likes one two's and triangles, basically if he was at Arsenal he'd be the next big thing. But we will see.
Wilshere is better though. w

This is effectively a who do you prefer, Arsenal or United on the Arsnenal and United boards

Having said that, I vote Wilshere

Theo is also 23, and is a veteran(games played) in comparison to Cleverly.
I dont see anything special about him and the fact that he's seen as United's saviours says a lot about the quality of their midfield

I'd say 25m for Wilshere as he has gained more exposure in Europe after some excellent games in the CL.

cleverley is incredibly overrated. incredibly. what has he done to suggest he will make it at united? he had a poor loan at wigan, and dont say he didnt, i used to go to alot of wigan games, he did. he had what, 2 good games last season and then was injured for the rest of it, and he had 1 good game for GB and he is proclaimed as england and man u's saviour, he ownt make it at either.

-----------

what a feckin stupid comment to make, what has wilshere done to suggest he is the next big thing?

he has had one decent season for Arsenal and then done nothing but sit in the treatment room.

how will he come back after his injury??

who knows?

posted on 15/8/12

wilshere would be atleast 40m in todays market.

posted on 15/8/12

Wilshere has been injured for ages, there's no guarantee once he comes back he will even be the same player he was.

Only one of these players has bossed Barca's midfield...

you probably missed the game we beat them 2-1 then, with anderson and cleverley in midfield

Different players suit different systems, they're both great prospects that need an injury free run.

I've got to say the obsession with comparing Arsenal and United players is a bit weird.

Is it? Even the United fans seem to accept that Wilshere is the better player.

1 top top class season for arsenal at the age of 19.

what has cleverley done? a average loan at wigan and 2 good games for man utd, and he is 23.

Wilshere is English, 20 yrs old and actually good and you value him at less than Carroll , £5M more than Henderson and the same value as Bent

exactly you muppet, 1 decent season before injury put him out for the best part of a year.

At the moment Wilshere is worth £0

You would never get 40m for a player who hasn't played a game in over a season.

Watford's player of the season?

I know it was at a lower level, but its still not to be sniffed at for a 20 year old.
