There's certainly one dirty Yank ruining Arsenal at the moment. <nodoh>
I know Dog, football is ruined
I think Spurs have actually done well to get rid of VDV but you seem to have loads of midfielders and nobody that creative, and lacking depth on the wings/up front.
Football should be a business not a competition
Maybe that should read <nodough> ?
It's pathetic how one of the richest clubs in world football insists on making profits year after year in the transfer market. Anybody would think we were skint looking at these figures.
Am I the only one who doesn't rate Siggurdson?
You're all trying to buy the title, you.
Money is ruining football, fact.
Chronic you defeated me with maturity
VDV is your best attacker tho. You cant deny that. His creativity and goalthreat in the final third is one of the best in the premier league.
Without Modric I think you'll struggle alot. You lack a deep lying playmaker to knit your play together.
Aquilani £5m
Kuyt £1m
Adam £4m
Borini £10m
Assaidi £3m
Allen £15m
Yesil £1m
£19m.
No idea where you get your figures from.
It's amazing because Arsenal generate the 5th most revenue in the world and yet you would think they're in financial difficulty
Plus the £5m for Sahin TOOR.
He's done fack all for Spurs so far too
Chelsea: -£86.46m
Financial Fair pay will put an end to their spending.
£5m for Sahin? It was £2m, plus his wages. We got £2m for Carroll, if that counts, which cancels it out.
I wish sandy but don't get your hopes up, FFP looks like a waste of time.
Am I to assume you've included Signing on fees and loyalty bonuses?
and here
HAVE SOME MORE FLAN, FLAN, FLAN!
Oh here we go financial expert extraordinaire Sandy Brown will give us a run down on how FFP stops you from spending a single penny
Our domestic TV money alone for last season was £42m so it's no real biggie.
-----------------------------
They are playing for free, that's nice of them.
With FFP we still outspend most teams
Siggurdson is crap, not average.
Arsenal are a joke - plain and simple. This window was an absolute scandal and much as many would like to absolve him from the blame the board is shouldering, Wenger was just as complicit in this show of shame.
I'm still stunned.
FFP doesn't affect Chelsea at all, they've won two trophies which equals lots of cash and they're the 3rd highest revenue generator in the league. Last season Arsenal only made like 1m more in revenue than Chelsea. And if you think FFP is crap, you should read reports on teams already being taken to court and failing to overpower UEFA. It will happen.

The problem is still the wage bill though.... There seems to be very little slow down in buying and offering huge contracts, which makes me think the FFP rule isn't worrying them too much.
