I see what you mean, although I do think that going from sixth to first in one season is too much of an ask. If you look at the history of the PL, the vast majority of teams who have won the title have finished at least 2nd the season before. I said the other day that I think this team needs the experience of a title challenge (because it is a completely different team than when we challenged in 2009) before winning it. I personally think that finishing in the top two or three will have to happen before winning it.

Seriously deluded, it really is unbelievable.

We've got a few users on here who'd rather spout claptrap and not back up their views with reasoned debate.

I think 1st is unlikely but 2nd or 3rd is very do-able.

After all, a poor united from last season are looking like being worse.

Chelsea will be up there cos they can afford to rebuild.
