Kagawa and Bobby...
You are not forced to read every article. If you don't like one just move on to another one. If you overheard a conversation that you found boring would you interupt them to let them know you don't want to be involved in that conversation?
5x - Yes I would, especially if it was as inanely dull is this.
Haha well you must waste a lot of your time telling people how boring they are.
You should create an article.
Go and read the report my dear boy. You are out of your depth. Suarez and your lawyers accepted the guilty charge on the day and only wanted to contest it when they got the ban.
Why didn't this innocent man contest this awful verdict and the evil Evra conspired with the FA to punish him because he plays for Liverpool.
-----------------------------------
Am sorry. i thought you said you were ITK on this issue. If you knew alot about it and had some proper intelligence you wouldn't be asking or saying any of these!!
The crux however is the handshake not the racism thingy you 10 year old.

Exactly. i think they would like this to end as it seems it wasn't as clear cut as they thought!!!

250 comments..... Dull you say?
You want this to stop don't you??
It's like a 5 hour rally in tennis but neither of the players have actually moved yet.
I entered this debate from an early stage. If I feel it has turned into utter rubbish courtesy of a failed social experiment then I'll provide some further input and say so.
Anyway......
My initial point is that its not a clear cut case as is made out and people will definitely have differing opinions. Its not definite the way some would like us to think. My opinion is clear to see but all are free to have opinions even if its that I am a numpty.

The more some Liverpool fans post, the more the chant "Always the victim" becomes more apt.
-----------------------------------
No Pool fan has ever said this but you are all free to run away with it like the 'this is our year thing'..... Good luck with that. hope you enjoy yourself!!!
=========================================
Of course no Pool fan would say that you donkey, it is United fans who sing that about L'pool fans

Manchester United: disgusting club with disgusting supporters. Instead of looking for those who chanted about Hillsborough over the weekend
--------------------------------------
They/we didn't chant about Hillsborough at the weekend. The song that they/we did sing was about the very incident that we are discussing on this thread. It was a stupid time for the few that did sing it to do so though - that much I agree with.

Elvis, just out of curiosity, how do you know this?
Because the world and his wife have decided otherwise...

Something I picked up on hours ago, but just didn't have the energy to try to explain.
Elvis there are plurals involved in the song. We all know what it's about. Can't you stop the ridiculous defence of these idiots? I was overwhelmed with the support from United fans in regards to Hillsborough and a few idiots doesn't change that but certainly defending the idiots could.
They should be condemned not defended so we can stamp out these ridiculous chants once and for all.

Have you seen it reported anywhere that some United fans were singing about Hillsborough. Every report I have read has said that it was the always the victim song. Which, in its latest reincarnation, has been about the Suarez Evra affair. If you have seen anything different reported I'd be interested to see the article?

Of course there are plurals in the chant, that is because there are more than one L'pool fan who believed that Suarez was innocent.
If that's the case then I'd recommend that you sing it when Suarez can actually hear it, rather than every game when he's not there...
Unless I'm missing something.
The words 'always' and 'never' imply that there is more than one incident. Sure it probably resurfaced when the Suarez case finished but we all know what it's about and to defend it puts you in the same bracket as them, in my opinion.

No I don't condone the singing at all, and it was a very stupid time to sing it.
However, the song was not (directly) about Hillsborough. In all honesty, it was a weasels way of having a dig at a very sensitive time and most United fans on here have said as much. I just think that Poolmyfinger is misrepresenting the actual events a little and also the fact that the vast majority of United fans have been supportive of LFC and their fans in this difficult time. Labelling us all as disgusting supporters is out of order in my opinion. We have our share of idiots, but so do LFC and all other teams.
I agree it was not directly about Hillsborough as I said before it implies more than one incident, Suarez and Hillsborough being two of them.

It is a bit before my time, but I was of the impression that the chant originated from Heysel?
That isn't to excuse it though as it isn't something that I would ever choose to sing myself and never have.
