Glad there are some sensible rangers fans on here that can see through the attention seeking bluster.

Chuman nah, maybe we've become bored arguing the same points over and over and over day in day out, whilst knowing we are legally right. Hearing the same playground windups day in day out for 10 months solid with no actual football or relevant debate. FFS say one comment on here about Neil Lemon and you lot go

So that we're on a level playing field, maybe you'd like to enlighten us the last time Rangers were champions of Europe?

Well they did win the ECWC in 1972 but were unable to defend it the year after.

The real problem of course being that everyone outside of Rangers hoped and thought that we would all just go away and die quietly, but instead are returning stronger and better supported than ever.

Why of course, the wonderful results are testament to this FACT

"How can Manchester United's revenues be £320m and Aston Villa, who are completely useless, get £250m?
Rangers currently play in Scottish Football League Division Three
Arsenal don't want to play Southampton or Swansea, but ask them if they want to play Celtic or Rangers. It's what the fans want to see

Green is convinced Rangers would be part of any new European league

What a load of garbage.

Aberdeen would thrash Rangers.

Why are The Rangers not playing tomorrow?

When is your Semi-Final of the Ramsdens?

Rued at least you brought the topic back to football.

AGCC we take 40 000+ to scottish 3rd division games.

We have the CL record for travelling fans 26,000 to Barca.

We have the European record for travelling fans 200,000+ to Manchester

We have 250 supporters clubs worldwide.

Why would we not be involved in European Super League? One thing's for sure Villa wont be invited.

We are one of the worlds biggest clubs restricted by our league and I'm including our previous SPL status in that.

Aye ok. To be honest I was amazed we got past Dunfermline A Rangers Aberdeen draw would be a good one but I'm not counting my chickens yet, St Mirren will be difficult. I seriously think any of the teams left are capable of winning the Cup.

There, I have been sensible

Neither Celtic or Rangers would be involved in a European Super League, at the present time.

If Peter Lawwell was to come out and insult another club, playing in an entirely different league, purely in the interest of grabbing headlines id be extremely embarrassed by it.

These days Arsenal are struggling to sell out their game against West Ham."

I don't like defending Arsenal, but didn't they get 60,000 against Coventry in the Carling Cup?

The best line from Green though: 'If the CVA gets rejected we'll lose all our tradition and history' *CVA is subsequently rejected* "We're still the same club".

@Chuman both Rangers and Celtic would be invited due to history and fan base. Both would be in tier 2 but with the tv cash and new investment both would end up getting promotion and challenging. Far too many fans not to.

He shouldn't have mentioned Villa or singled out any club, but everything he said was correct.

@Gaz he wasn't having a go at Arsenal. Arsenal fans were there to see Arsenal no matter who they are playing. FFS Rangers fans aren't turning up in the 3rd to watch our opposition.

@Rued, fair points there.

The deed Rangers

Is how they're ranked in terms of European success.

We'll have to agree to disagree with regards celtic and rangers being invited to a Euro League.

Grayskull, I imagine the minimum criteria for joining the European Super League would be for clubs who have won Europe's premier competition. Who's "useless" now?

posted on 12/10/12

@Chuman my points re attendance apply to the size of Celtic as well. it's worldwide fanbase that makes big clubs. Add extra tv money and there'd be no stopping either of the OF. Both of us are held back by our league.
