--------

because he is a very very very well paid professional , thats all.

i think it is relevant if i am being honest. you are free to disagree...

So rich people/high earners aren't as entitled to parental leave as others? So if a Championship player and misses the play off final due to a similar situation it is fine because he earns less than Bale?

To be honest I am not that bothered about those clowns tonight, I need to get to the bottom of this Friedel over Lloris situation. It is very disturbing.

i do understand the point you are making... but from the finances point of view its better to pay someone 10 grand to do nothing than 80 grand to do nothing..

this seems fairly obvious to me and so i am still a little unsure of the point that you are actually making.

yes.. if you had read the comments then you will see that since writing the article i have had many other things brought into consideration by other posters, such as what if the woman has complications, she would want bale, and thus i have softened my stance on the situation.

not gonna disagree with that...

I have four kids, and was not at the actual birth of any of them. Not my scene really. However I did go to the hospital as soon as I knew my new son/daughter had arrived, and that is how it should be. Why would I want to sit around awaiting for a birth that could take up to 3 days more than expected.

I am with Chronic on this one. Anyway is Gareth Bale a Dad or not.
