Milan: Your take on the Rovers has warmed my very soul...

I wish there were more genuine fans who used their own judgement as opposed to the bandwagon-riding, ill-informed numbskulls who get their opinions from what they hear on TalkSport and then regurgitate it on our boards!

Best of luck for the season, hope you lose against us though

Also going for draw with this fixture 2-2 ^

I think it is a poor state of affairs at Ewood when we have to consider getting a draw against a team which has only just been promoted. On paper Rovers should replicate the 7-2 drubbing from a few years ago, but that won't happen.
I will go for a 2-1 win for Rovers but for them to be outplayed. Gomes and Rhodes will always make a difference and Dunn seems to be playing well for now (bound to be injured soon)
Won't be a good match I'm afraid.

Rovers fan in Kent

Agree we have the firepower to get us goals, but just think we are too leaky at the back, especially when we do sit back to much. Should win this, I agree, and my heart is saying 2-1, but I just have a feeling we are gonna throw away another late goal and it will be a 2-2.

Hoping I am wrong

Well ive always thought that nobody knows better about their club, past and present like their own fans I just hope that thins get sorted for you...starting this Saturday Ironically, my first game I went to was when we played you at Hillsborough and we won 3-0 that day, wasnt the same game was it?

That was 98/99, no? Was at that game, terrible we were! Di Canio scored late on if I remember correctly?

Mine was a few years before that 95/96 season, if I am not wrong. Still lost Was 2-1 to your boys, remember it was still summer holidays from school, so must have been pretty early in the season, 2nd or 3rd game I think. Waddle scored, Shearer pulled us a goal back in the second half and I forget who won you the game but it was another late goal, I remember that. Gutted I was! You had Petrescu playing for you that day, and seeing as I work in Romania, it is a story I tell many a Romanian over here as I remember watching him play that day. Hero in these Eastern parts and doing a great job in management as well

Nice to know we were at the same game, and happy not going to Hillsborough today, as I seem a lucky omen for you as we have lost both games I have seen at your ground Seen us beat you a few years ago in the league cup though, but that was at Ewood
So, sorry Wednesday fans, but perhaps we are due a win at Hillsborough if I am not there!

Interesting predictions from Rovers fans.

I'd obviously plump for a Wednesday win, we need it. I suspect it will be a close fought affair with one goal in it either way.

Hope its a good match and best of luck to BRFC for the rest of the season, it goes without saying that I hope you have no luck on Wednesday though but give us a good entertaining game to make the trip worthwhile.

Also hope you end up getting rid of the Venky's and get a board/owner that is worthy of an old and respected football club.

I'll tow the line with much of what's been said, 2-2 and hopefully an evening of football rather than thuggary.
Having said that, if Rhodes gets through with 90 on the clock, someone please run on and chin him

Who's getting the Rovers job long term then?

I honestly think after Friday night, as well as witnessing the start of our season, we are not in the 3 worst teams in this league. However at some point we need to actually score more than the opposition. Could this be tomorrow Heart says YESSSSS head says doubt it, they should be lots better than us at Ewood!

1-1 would be a good result.

Who knows??
Reckon Black will end up with it, to be honest
Myself, You or Foghorn Leghorn have as much chance as anyone I reckon, knowing our owners

Defo not in the worst 3 teams and would be hugely suprised if you guys went down. Bit sad as well, to be honest.

When did she get fat?

She plumped up ready for a Christmas exercise video with our Graham

As long as Danny Murphy doesn't get in the starting line up I think we'll be ok. He's dreadful.

I reckon Rovers can forget McCarthy being their next manager...Apparently he smelt a rat with Forest's owners...Methinks he won't fancy the smell of chicken...

I hope we play you before Dougie F signs for you cos I reckon he is/ will be a very good manager.

I think this is the game where we keep both a clean sheet and pick up a long awaited win. There is little expectation of us getting a result on paper, relegated ex prem team just sat outside the playoff places against newly promoted but struggling side, has an away win written all over it!!

0-2 to the Owls!!

I like your thinking St.Charles. I reckon Blackburn are there for the taking tonight. But I think only a single goal will be the difference I'd be chuffed if we got a 2-0 away win.

Today is Wednesday, we are Wednesday. It's MASSIVE Wednesday for Dave Jones today.
