That was in a comment. This is an article, more high profile. It is like an ad campaign, you need to sometimes spread the word about a bit in more than one place.

And I am senile. So no surprise there.

Seeing spurs at the lane for the first time on Saturday, if I don't get to see Ade or Lloris play I'll be a little upset, but still really excited to be at the lane obviously

Morning sandy

yes we are doing well points wise and be great to have our best players back

Dont agree with everyone going on about lloris leaving, the job is his long term and he only has a few months till he is number one if not earlier, AVB is just trying to learn from his mistakes at Chelsea where he was forced to go in like a bull in a china shop and change things

Brad has a few months left of his career, lloris has many yrs

The only downside as far as I can see is AVBs refusal to play Lloris, who will surely leave as quickly as he came. He is not going to sit on the bench, watching a 41 year old concede in every game, and seeing his intenational place in jeopardy. He is as good as gone in my book

i had a right go at don yesterday and i will have a go at you too. dont be so silly. as if lloris can just move when he says so

Sandy - I think it is a sign of a good side when you bear in mind that we are in the top 4 having not played particularly well this season.

numbers...yes...but you cld flip it and say....maybe this IS as good as we gonna get....

in which case....it will not be enough to sustain top 4.....

Results wise, I applaud these 3 points. But I’m really not happy with all this ‘parking the bus’ stuff when the opposition close the gap to just a one goal deficit. We hung on for dear life again, finishing the game with eleven men behind the ball & no strikers on the pitch for the last 14 minutes (inc injury time). This is madness.

Of course the score line is satisfying, but it is awful to watch and it’s a bit amateurish.

yeah avb needs to learn that for the last 20 years we have not been able to just sit back and kill a game like man u used to, so we are not going to start now.

when we go 2-0 up, the opposition almost always score next.

Whilst I agree with Sandy that its good to be where we are without playing great all the time, I thought we were lucky to get away with the win yesterday.

Once again I think Friedel was at fault with the goal & he was also stranded a couple of times when he halfheartedly came for the ball. Having said that he did make a couple of very good saves too.

I do agree that this changing of keepers is not the way to do things & think AVB (the manager & not Bale's daughter) is trying too hard to keep players happy.

I think that the return of our missing players like Kaboul, BAE & yes Scotty is very important & will give us that extra experience & quality we need.

I would use BAE at left back, Caulker & Kaboul in the middle & push Vert forward into midfield & also put him in charge of free kicks.

Genius Greaves - I agree that Vertonghen can do a job in midfield if required like The King did for England before his dodgy left knee came into play.

Vertonghen was the steal of the Century !!

Not being funny mate, but tell me how many players do not get a move away when they start throwing their toys out of the pram, pretty well all of them do. Agreed Levy plays a hard game with players, but Lloris frankly has a pretty legitimate reason for wanting to leave in my opinon, so I doubt he would stand in his way. You cannot tell me that Levy or AVB told him he would be sitting on the bench if he came to Spurs, otherwise no way would he have signed.

Vert in midfield?

We cant just try to fit all the CBs into a formation. Vert should just go back to CB at the expense of Caulker.

posted on 29/10/12

hhhmmmnn.....i'd be tempted to use benny or naughts at LB...

and vert to partner caulks at cb......

I also think that Verthongen should be Captain, he is a classy player & also has that presence on the pitch that makes him stand out..............................

someone posted the other day...they felt alot of AVB'S decisions were due to trying to learn from his chels stint...and not rocking the boat too much.....
