@VC,
What didnt you like about the Dominican Republic?
My ex posted a load of pictures yesterday as she is there for a week on holiday and it looks stunning (as does she ).
Hippo, I had to double check it wasn't Rob responding to those posts.

Once you get over the shock of seeing a hunstman you just laugh at them. They're just bigger versions of English house spiders. That's all

Rob if you get the chance go. Strange as i say but interesting all the same!
My sister lives in Sandy Bay next to that ugly round casino building thing. Oh, if you could pay her the 450D i owe her that would be helpful...
Rocksteady
I'll see what I can do
Wales, it might be a crumby, poor, soggy bit of rock stickin out of the side of England, but it's my bit of rock
Was it me, but the further north you'd go the more unfriendly the people were? Was in Cologne quite alot and just had a laugh with most people but once you'd get past Hamburg it was all downhill from there!
.................
A lot of it is to do with the Northern Towns being populated by the British Army.
My spelling will be bad here, but Munster, Hameln, Osnabruch, Hannover, Herford etc are all Garrison Towns where, for the most part the Germans tend to hate us.
JA606 world tour it is then.
i would recommend everyone on here at some point go to brazil i really would

@VC,
What didnt you like about the Dominican Republic?
.....................
The people, and the poverty. There is one small part of the DR where the tourists go, that is quite stunning, and the tourist companies will try and keep you there.
My family only spent a day a a different town there as a stop on a cruise. The cruise ship got so many complaints as the place was an out and out sh ithole, they have taken it off their itinery.
England and Spain are the best countries, my opinion may be a little bias though and I'm 50/50 of each
someone said Egypt? Serious bro? That place is a dump and most the men there are disgusting and deserve a good beating.
the only other Places I'd consider living are the USA, New Zealand and Australia as I have family in all
Busby babes,
No need to have a panty puddle just because I don't love Australia. Not everyone wants to spend their life on a beach drinking, ya feel bro?
Australia is now the fattest nation on the planet btw, and Christ isn't an actual argument to anything.
As for sporting events being better in Oz, I went to the Oz Open and it was rubbish compared to Wimbledon, the standard of football is terrible and every Aussie rules footy match I went to was just used as an excuse for everyone to get drunk again.
I love a beer but that place is ridiculous.
That's funny, I didn't think they could fit Australia in to a computer screen...
Didi, you're also forgetting we are better than them at cricket. They're pretty good at swimming though, fair play, I'll give them that.
Australia is not for me either. I like cities with a bit of history and architecture, Australia has neither as it's too new.
Call me a nerd if you want but that's my thoughts.
Komakino, I'm precisely the same. One of the reasons America doesn't have that much appeal either.
China is a must for me. As is Instabul.
Darren
Actually, if Australia beat South Africa in the current test series we go to number 1 in the world
And we're a better rugby union AND league team
And Komakino, it may not have a lot of 'white people' history but we have plenty of Aborigine history. Which predates anywhere else on the planet.
My adopted country of Spain, and the manner in which we were encouraged to integrate by our community both receive five stars from me.
Don't get me wrong Australia does have history.
It's just that it consists of sand, a big rock and some undesirables that we got shut of a couple of hundred years ago.
For anyone considering living in Japan this is a hilarious but actually very interesting article on living in Japan
