Mitchell Johnson was a key member of the Australia cricket team in its 5–0 whitewash of England in the 2013–14 Ashes series. He played in all five Test matches of the series, taking a total of 37 wickets at an average of 13.97 and winning the player of the series award. He was noted for his bowling skills and aggression during the series, which inspired Australia to regain the Ashes for the first time since 2006–07.

Spotify is raising prices for its 200 million ad-free subscribers for the first time in over a decade, the platform has announced.

In the US, the cost will increase from $9.99 to $10.99 (£8.57) for those with an individual plan.

Spotify said users "will be given a one-month grace period before the new price becomes effective, unless they cancel before the grace period ends".

Former England forward Trevor Francis has died aged 69 after suffering a heart attack in Spain.

In 1979 he became Britain's first £1m footballer when he moved from Birmingham City to Brian Clough's Nottingham Forest.

He won two European Cups with Forest - in 1979, when he scored the winner against Malmo, and 1980.

Francis also won 52 England caps, scoring 12 goals, before embarking on a managerial career.

A statement released on behalf of his family said: "This has come as a huge shock to everybody. We are all very upset.

"He was a legendary footballer but he was also an extremely nice person."

Francis spent half the year in Spain and the rest in Solihull. He suffered a heart attack 11 years ago and had kept himself fit since with daily power walks.

He had an annual health check through the League Managers' Association and, according to his spokesman, was "enjoying life very much".

Francis lost wife Helen in 2017, when she died after being diagnosed with cancer. They had married in 1974 and had sons Matthew and James together.

Born in Plymouth, Francis joined Birmingham as a schoolboy and was the Blues' then-youngest debutant in 1970 aged 16 - a record only beaten by current England and Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham in August 2019.

Francis went on to score 119 goals in 280 league appearances before his history-making switch to link up with Clough at Nottingham Forest.

After Forest's two European Cup wins, he joined Manchester City before having spells with Italian clubs Sampdoria and Atalanta.

A season in Scotland with Rangers followed before he joined QPR, where he also became player-manager.

He later performed a similar role at Sheffield Wednesday and helped lead them to both the FA Cup and League Cup finals in 1993, losing both to Arsenal.

Francis retired as a player in 1994, shortly before his 40th birthday, having made 632 appearances and scored 235 goals.

He then returned to Birmingham as manager between 1996 and 2001 and guided the Blues to the 2001 League Cup final where they lost to Liverpool on penalties.

After leaving St Andrew's, his final managerial post was at Crystal Palace where he spent two years.

He also worked as a media pundit with Sky Sports and BT Sport.

Jar Jar Binks actor Ahmed Best has revealed he contemplated suicide as he weathered intense backlash against his Star Wars character.

Best, 49, said he considered jumping off the Brooklyn Bridge after his character - who he debuted as in 1999's The Phantom Menace - became one of the most reviled characters in history.

In the wake of the character's debut, Best began receiving death threats, with his number leaked and trolls calling his answering machine incessantly - with the star saying: 'It was the lowest I’ve been in my life.'

Speaking to The Guardian, Best said he found himself 'on a foggy night at 3am clinging to the edge of Brooklyn Bridge, 39m above the water.

His thoughts were: 'I’ll show all of you. I’ll show you what you’re doing to me.

'And when I’m gone, you’ll feel exactly what I went through.'

Best said he reached his 'lowest point' after the character was accused of enforcing 'blatant Hollywood racial stereotypes' which Best and everyone involved in Jar Jar Binks' development have denied.

Best, who is proud of his African heritage, said it was this accusation that he had been 'exploited' that forced him to consider suicide.

He recalled a strong gust of wind forced him to cling onto the bridge and it was then that he realized he wanted to live.

The star said he crawled across a girder, saying: 'It was terrifying – just terrifying' before running home.

Fans saw Jar Jar Binks' role shrink from prominent in Episode I - The Phantom Menace to just a one-line cameo in Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.

In 2018, Best first revealed he contemplated suicide after portraying the character.

'20 years next year I faced a media backlash that still affects my career today,' the Stomp alum wrote in 2018 alongside a photo at the Brooklyn Bridge with his son.

Time is running out for people to use any standard non-barcoded stamps as Monday is the last day they can be used to post items.

After Monday, customers sending mail with these stamps risk the recipient being given a surcharge of £1.10.

However, commemorative and non-barcoded Christmas stamps will still be valid.

People can swap their old stamps for barcoded stamps through Royal Mail's Swap Out scheme, where there is no deadline for exchange.

Royal Mail said: "A leaflet with a form [for the Swap Out scheme] was delivered to every household recently, but customers can also print out a form from our website; call our Customer Experience team to order one; or pick one up at a local Royal Mail delivery office or Post Office."

The deadline for using the old stamps was extended from 31 January as more time was required for users, Royal Mail said.

After Monday, Royal Mail says a £1.10 surcharge fee will be applied to mail sent using non-barcoded stamps. Those receiving mail sent using non-barcoded stamps will be given a "Fee to Pay"' card telling them they must pay a surcharge before the item can be delivered.

Barcoded stamps were introduced in February last year in an attempt to make deliveries more efficient and improve security.
