The article is just answering an argument - nothing more nothing less
----------------------------
No one would have put forward the argument forward that Spurs are doing better in the league solely to the transfer dealings of the past three years as you'd have to be a complete moron to think that. Is the OP a moron?
flashyflibble - £50 = away end at Fulham or a school trip to West Ham (U10324)

good article,
the deluded scousers shown up once again
---
So funny Spurs fans on the WUM with their little tin pot club
What is Spurs' net spend per trophy?
Robbing, I know nothing of the original argument as the OP doesnt mention any details, you are obviously better informed than I am on that?
NB. The top London club by Christmas trophy doesn't count.
What kind of fecking idiot uses stats that from the past three years that include the sales of players bought from over three years ago?
Stupid bloody Londoners it's no wonder they riot.
I'm off to bed. Absolute morons.
Maybe the OP can compare the expended-sure of Liverpool and someone that's beaten Arsenal or Chelsea this season
Spurs are like a little terrier dog all they want is for you to pat them on the head and tell them they're good.

What is it with you lot?
Are you paid to be deluded?

It's all about the money at the end of the day.

Their net spend over the last three years can't be too far off ours, yet they have a squad that has depth and a first 11 that is better than ours.
(Actually, its a lot less)

I'm not embarrassed. Have you won more than feck all then. When is the open top rascal van?
Idiot.
Night night.
And there were many more
Liverpool. Biggest waste of money in Premiership history?
"Last season it was all aimed at Chelsea and arsenal and it came back to make them look (hilariously) stupid. I assume spurs fans are just more confident they can have a pop at us without the same thing happening."
Until Liverpool knock them out of the Europa
Ok robbing - that's a fair point. But I'd wager if we just went with gains and deficits of players bought / sold in the last 3 years who were on the books before that, the net result wouldn't be too different.
I have no stats to back it up - just can't think of too many players we've made a sizeable loss on recently.
"I'm not embarrassed. Have you won more than feck all then. When is the open top rascal van?"
No longer we spent a LOT though are you
Facts dear boy. Learn some.
'Took part in the champions league once trophy' is a nice one to have.
Serious question.
Why do Spurs fans think they are a big club?
It's all relative Lucas. We're bigger than most due to our fan base and history. Hope that helps
Spurs fans WUM Arsenal for not winning trophies when they never win any.
They WUM Liverpool fans for talking about their history and then WUM Chelsea fans for having no history.
They even WUM West Ham fans for winning a stadium that they were overlooked for.
The Calamity Cockerels are just a comedy that keep on giving
Let me guess why this s.pud took only 2010/11 season as an example. Oh, i forgot, they won 'once we were in CL' cup and also 40 mil in revenue from UEFA to WUM liverpool.
Busted..
Maf - the season you were relegated (the last time) you spent more on wages than Spurs
Exact same can be said about Arsenal fans?
Except the stadium thing - where I don't see your point. They won't be able to fill it...that's the WUM...and it's true.
We're the entertainers though - happy to oblige.
You are still not a big club.
I don't see why you come over here to try and wum the 2nd biggest club in England.
You're like a clownfish in the ocean and Liverpool is a Whale.
You see what i'm getting at?
