The whole point of a league is that the best team over the logn haul win it and the worst go down.
Duke didnt see you on for a while so you might have missed it but the 12-12-18 is actually a 2 division setup.
I made a few posts on such and in reality your point is catered for. There is only two division winners at seasons end SPL1 and the 18 team league Champions.
Granted in a one in a million scenario the teams in the bottom third of 24 teams might win the league buts it much more likely they would have fought out a relegation battle which is just what they get.

Being very cynical, a team int he top flight could play youths for the first half of the season for basically no money not caring about results, then for the second half of the season get some mercenaries in on 6 month deals.
This would allow them to get enough points when the points are nulled for the split to survive and then repeat this on a yearly basis.

Get new ones then! I thought it was vitally important that money should never interfere with sporting integrity!
Honestly speaking...I'd say it's another of these scenarios where without being a punishment it will be a hindrance,and I wonder at the timing of it,considering changes have been mooted for years yet nothing's been done

Any reconstruction should start from season 2014/2015, it is only right that when you enter a competition that you know how it is going to finish.
If reconstruction is tied fown by the end of this season then you know what you can pitch to a new sponsor coming in
Some just want it to be all about rangers when its obviously not.

A United twitter site (arabarchive) did a poll of it's users to see the most popular league structure and around 35% of users voted 14-14-14 as the preferred structure.
Since we're all about Sporting Integrity it could well be that United are going to vote for that structure if that's what we, the supporters, want.
Was 35% highest?
What was 2nd
The guy who does it has only posted which option was leading the voting and that's the 14-14-14 on just over 36%.
