United & FFP Exposed

The empty seats are paid for as every PL game has been a sell out.The problem seems to be if a season card holder cant go they can only get rid of their ticket if they choose to use viagogo which simply inflates the prices so they are too expensive but wouldve been sold if they had been rereleased for sale from our ticket office.Ive no doubt that viagogo pay clubs a lot of money to be able to provide this service but outside of london or liverpool & man utd and the tourists insatiable search for tickets,i doubt it would be worthwhile at any other ground.
My seats were empty over christmas & new year but they were still paid for.

I wish this subject could be discussed without petty point scoring about empty seats.

Let's face it, even if they're not full, the grounds for United, City and the rest of the big boys sell well enough for ticket sales not to be much of an issue.

I think it's fair to say that whether City do or don't meet FFP requirements, ticket sales will have jack sheet to do with it.

Spot on Winston.

I dont think anyone knows really whether City will satisfy the FFP regulations or not.
In a business sense its hardly an unusual practice to take over a struggling business and spend some capital to grow the company which results in a book loss for the first couple of years or so.
When the Etihad campus is up and running we will have much more idea of whether its viable or not,but it has much more chance than Abramovich,s Chelsea of being a sustainable business

when United start sending tickets back for big away games the people who run our game will start to worry, belive me.

United fans can use their Oyster Cards for London games though, they don't have to pay £70 to go on the train.

Not at the moment Binky, lots of trouble on the trains down here at the moment. That fire at Victoria made getting to work a royal pain this morning

Boris

instead of throwing your money at oposing players why dont you save it up, then you could buy away tickets?

Just a thought.

I heard that Lodon may get a millimetre of snow tommorrow, that usually means everything shuts down for a month and a national disaster is declared.

Yep, you're not far wrong Boris, everyone down here seems to forget how to drive. it didn't help that aswell as the fire, a lot of roads out of Vauxhall are closed down due to that helicopter, makes getting in and out of work a nightmare.

Tell that to the cyclists and morons that think red lights don't apply to them and think they can just walk out in front of you. I wouldn't wish a London commute on anyone. Though I doubt I'll be on the motorbike tomorrow, it's a death wish riding in the snow, even getting out of our town is nasty

If they weren't such morons then I wouldn't have to! Seriously the ride through red lights in the middle of rush hour and then complain when they nearly get killed! Bloody idiots! Not all of them are like it, but we nearly hit at least 1 or 2 a day because they think things like red lights a just a suggestion...

Most cyclists are OK tbh, it's the clowns in the lycra with the £2,000 bikes that fek it up for the rest of us as they seem to think they're above the law and immune from personal injury.

Agreed Boris ^

If I lived a bit closer to work I'd probably cycle in, but as it stands I'm not cycling 20 odd miles there and back, especially not in this weather.
