In pretty sure you will have lost a lot of money on Gervinho, Giroud, Diaby, Denilson, Santos
---------------------------
Denilson, Diaby were low outlays because of the ages they were acquired.
Denilson has been priced to break-even. We should get that at the end of this season because he is doing very well back in Brazil.
The break even-point for Arshavin was £7.5m last year. I believe Zenit offered £4m and we wouldn't sell, instead waiting till the end of the Euros. Then he opened his big gob and cost us £5m transfer fee. Thats why I believe Arshavin will be the first real loss.
Gervinho cost us £8m. I think African performances alone will get us that back in the summer if Arsene decides to sell him.
Giroud is a puzzle. Cost us £11m. The jury is out.
Park was a loss. But again we are talking abt £3m at most.

I would say Joe Cole was a terrible signing. His wages were astronomical.
Cant blame Liverpool for that one even United was sniffing after him at the time, just a shame he went downhill after having such a promising career.
Definitely Torres.
In terms of the player's performances themselves then it's a toss up between him and Andy Carroll. The thing with Andy is that the club had the gonads to ship him out when things weren't working out.
Torres has been the downfall of many managers, RDM, AVB, and even Ancellotti have failed to get him working - and signings like Ba aren't able to make the starting line up which is hindering Chelsea's chances of pushing forward.
That's why Torres is the worst of all time for me.
United buying Veron was bad but it was even more stupid that we bought him off you for 16million
Kaka for 76m He isnt the same player he used to be...
Ngog - Liverpool realy saw us coming with this one, one good game in about 40 and a poorer goalscoring record than Elmander which takes some bloody beating.

What about the whole Mikel fiasco?
Didnt you end up paying us £15 million when we paid half that or something silly?

We paid 16million for Bosingwa as well
how much was igor stepanovs?
he was quite a player.
well done arsene
Bosingwa was pretty good for us overall though tbh, mainly when he wasn't playing right back
SWP was an awful buy at 21 million as well
Bosingwa looked a good player and just got worse at Chelsea.
He must be getting a good whack at QPR though.
Yeh think so HNIC, Mikels been a pretty good buy though overall, hasn't lived up to expectations and we turned him from one of the hottest AM prospects in football to a DM with zero attacking ability but he has been a pretty good servant over the years
It's fair to say every club has had pizz poor buys.

I rate him. A lot dont but he is very disciplined in his role.
Essien has been the biggest loss to Chelsea though, whenever he played he dominated midfields.
Turnbull
Del Horno Boulahrouz Smertin Bosingwa
SWP Veron Geremi Zhirkov
Torres Shevchenko
Total = 175 million
