Bulls won Vs Toronto

Rose injured again though

posted on 14/11/14

Toronto are sheit these days, basically fill up the numbers in the league.

Rose has missed 185 games since the 2011/12 season. Ridiculous.

Toronto only lost once before last night!

Reckon they'll have a decent season

Meh, high energy. No clutch or half court players, I reckon they will burn out December time.

See what Rose came out and said btw?

Proper basketball starts tonight, the college version.

The average american cares about that much more than nba

Doesnt reflect well on college ball that. Dont think anyone respects the average american.

HUGE game in college tonight, champions Kentucky against my towns team Kansas University

They reckon 7 of the 10 starters will be first round picks in the draft and that the 4 Kentucky boys could be picks 1-4.

Wonder if Saint will come back and post here this season. Seemed pretty content for the Bulls to have signed Gasol, which surprised me. Won emphatically last night without him in the side.

Yeah I couldnt remember Saints opinion on Pau, even though I dont rate him much.

Do you know if players train everyday? I was thinking about it and surely if you have back-to-back games you dont train when you have a game that day?

No idea tbh, can't be easy when they're on the road.

I reckon they probably have a shooting practice, but nothing at high intensity.

That and a few games of NBA Live.

God, haven't played that game since around '97!

Just trying to help you guys out, you obviously like basketball, but seem to underestimate the power of the college game.

I would recommend you try and watch a few games, you will love it.

I have watched it, it's entertaining no doubt, but it is no way better than the NBA, the coverage is tougher to watch, the punditry is far worse.

It's a league full of show off plays and explosive offence but poor defence. Basically a league of Clippers.

The NBA is an opportunity to watch fantastic tactical battles, combined with the best of the best on and off the court, and such well disciplined teams.

It is fascinating to watch the kids then the men, you are right regarding the gulf in class and discipline, its the same with the american football.

I just love the raw emotion and the passion shown with the college game, for me that is what gives certain sports that edge.

The talk last night is that this Kentucky team may be able to compete with the poorer NBA teams, it is the largest college team of all time apparently and someone said actually bigger than numerous NBA teams.

Personally I don't buy it, the discipline and sheer bulk of the men sets them apart from even the best kids initially.

Though I hear Wiggins has started well, didn't he drop 25 points in one game? Ran into him a few times last year in town.

I dont really follow the NBA outside the Spurs much anymore so not sure how any of the rookies are doing.

College ball is definitely basketball broken down into its purest form, just a bunch of guys who love the game, playing like they would in a park.

I just love watching different offences/tactics though, seeing the Spurs/Pops P&R offence vs the Lakers/Phils Triangle offence in the early 00's was great.
