A say though You've got to think, if we're that desperate then why not recall some of our Own Loan Players .. Surely with a subtle pack reshuffle ~ Liam Ridehalgh and Jimmy Spencer could do a job .. ?

As for Ridehalgh, I can't help but think his days are numbered at Town, another Yoof product that has failed to make the grade.
That brings me nicely on to Town new policy of clearing the path for youngsters to make the grade in our 1st team. It's a great idea in principle but if it's going to work then the crop of youngsters we have now have to be a significant improvement on what we've seen in the past...remember we are a Championship side these days.

Wakey every time i've seen Ridehalgh i've thought he looked good.. he's wasted where he's at now .. some players do better at a higher level and so far as I'm aware he's not been given a chance in the Champ ..

Mark strikes me as a chancer (We'll certainly see this Saturday as i'm expecting him to really rock our boat) so C'mon, bring him back Mark & hey Wakey, as for your closing comment ..

I think we're close to naming the manager , I think the new manager as already done some work and if the loans come in I think he has something to do with them , my bet he will be announced on Friday , lilis will be in charge for the Cardiff game as Hoyle has said but the new man will be in the directors box with Hoyle , how I now believe it will be the bloke from wigen , as dean stated in the past likes the way Wigan are run as a club and he wants to copy them , and wouldn't it be ironic that we will play Wigan in the FA CUP if we win the replay .

if he cant get a manager installed then being first in the queue for loan players is a must..
lillis knows players as well as anyone else..

Apart from this long winded process being highly embarrassing to him & us fans alike (I mean why sack Grayson on the back of little more than discontment with him) if your not pretty much certain in your mind who, or the type of man the next guys gonna be ? I mean to say, If it were 38, he would've had at least a 2nd and 3rd bloke in the frame because as we all knows he loves his PLAN Bs - So after a process of deduction I'm saying we'll have new playing personnel arrive before a new manager ..

Cas, Wakey ~ I'm reasonably fine with Cal Woods & Jah Hunt though the pair of em seem better raiders or to use Rugby speak Offenders than Defenders hence our proclivity for getting scored against much more often than we would like - Kourse 38 will blame Klutz for this as per anything else that goes wrong along the back line ..

No what I said (if you re-read mi post) is a pack reshuffle possibly using Hunt, Ridehalgh & Woods in different positions as all are capable - Don't put it past Lillis who learnt a lot from Gerry, a bloke never afraid to toss the playing position coin up in the air and see how it landed.

As for an announcement...well time will tell, but to be honest...nothing will surprise me about this saga anymore...it just smacks of 'unpreparedness' ..Deano took 4 days to think about sacking Grayson, when he shud have done it on the Sunday/Monday. Now he's into his 3rd week on a replacement...meanwhile, tomorrow we could be 2 points from the dread zone (good group that by the way).

Next week we have a cup replay , and another potential cup tie on Sunday...big prize money at stake here....
