Definitely Allegri. But Tuchel isn't too bad either. He's a bit of a disciplinarian but with the trophies to back it up.

Isn't Tuchel also on good term with Auba? Work with him before?

I would go for Tuchel.

Players like him and there will be no language problem.

You J99?

I would be very surprised if someone at Arsenal HQ hasn't already, or at least planned to, get in touch with Tuchel.

All the public backing of Arteta is good and expected. Back of the scenes, they're prepping for his ultimate departure.

There's only a few points in it and it's not all down to him but PSG not being top is shocking when you consider budget

Yes I'd have him at arsenal

Like you said. Tuchel didn't actually win at Dortmund and had no competition at PSG.

Allegri won with quite an old squad. Kinda suggests he can work with what he has.

Tuchel could also be interested to go back to BVB.

Its an old saying but an accurate one. Never go back.

We will see. Only speculation in Germany now.

Tuchel has outgrown Dortmund, I'm afraid. Needs to move on

1. I don't believe Allegri would seriously consider us

2. He's a good young manager. Fairly sound in his tactics. Good language skills. Good coaching.

3. He's been linked to Arsenal before and sounded out that would be interested to work here

4. He's not Arteta

5. Can see us developing well under him. Mind you, not even Tuchel can save us with this current squad, but he does have an eye for good players. And his judgement of players is fairly good.

Mind you, I did say I preferred Allegri.

Allegri has been linked to us for years. More than any other club actually. Suggests there has been a dialogue for a while.

My fear is that Tuchel could be another Emery. Has a lot of bright ideas but little understanding of the softer side of management such culture and man management.

posted on 24/12/20

Emery's issue was the language barrier. Players took the piiss out of him behind his back. He would have developed the culture side given a bit more time. His man management was ok, tbh.

Tuchel is a lot more eloquent with his language skill. His man management is excellent. You have to be to stick around with the likes of Neymar, Mbappe, Thiago, and co.

Hmm...sounds like Tuchel is an epic caaant. Fell out with a lot of people during his times at Mainz, Dortmund, and PSG.

Arsenal players took the p!ss out of Wenger as well. However if the ideas are working it does not matter.

Eloquence means very little without the knowledge to underpin it as Arteta has shown.

They’ll be saying similar things about Arteta if he ends up leaving. I hope he can still turn things around here. Just less sure as the weeks, and games, go by.

How do you explain how well Emery is doing this season then? I mean, after he left Arsenal, there were stories that he’s not even a very good communicator in his native tongue.

Less expectation is all I can think.

That and less s to deal with in the dressing room.

Not quite there yet. However the line up against City was very damaging to my confidence in him - despite it not being that surprising in the end.

Chucking Smith Rowe and Balogun on when the game was done I found quite insulting to them tbh.
