So let's see if L'Equipe has this right about Saliba.

They’re both neither way about Arteta - especially Elliot.

He’s been questioning Saliba’s treatment all season.

He’s the one that said how ‘raw’ he still looked.

He doesn’t want him loaned btw. Wants him in the squad instead of Holding.

There is no pro-Arteta narrative. But it doesn’t change what they said. And I guess what they saw.

Saliba’s loan is dry - no options or obligations according to

As I said earlier, if we were loaning Saliba to a PL side I’d be miffed, but at least could see the point.

Going to Marseille just seems like the club, and his people, don’t think he’s ready for a decent league.

Saliba is still young, so why would he worry?

But Arsenal obviously signed him too soon. Another waste of time and money.
