Okay, well you're exaggerating now, but I'll go with it, just for chuckles.

So, Arteta is complaining to the press about about leaks from the training ground, threatening to 'destroy' whomever is responsible.

I'm guessing you've not been oblivious to all the negativity and 'bantz' about Arsenal being thrown around by the press just recently?

You don't think that would've been the prefect time for someone to say... 'oh and by the way, everyone, the leak from Arsenal was Arteta'?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I am not saying that Arteta is leaking information. I am saying that he is obsessed with PR and trying to control the flow of it from the club. So it is not a stretch or a whacky conspiracy theory to suggest that he is responsible for letting the press know why Auba was suspended after officially saying that it was an internal matter. And then to hide behind privacy leading to speculation on Auba/Laca when they both had covid.

posted on 4/9/21

Or could just be that neither Auba or Laca are vaccinated, and the club were trying not to make a big deal of it by saying they'd tested positive for COVID?

I'm speculating of course.

Only because I don't have any inside knowledge about the reasons behind it...

Would've been interesting to see how the Xhaka situation had been handled had he tested positive at Arsenal.

Or the simple explanation that Arteta enjoys creating bogey men to justify his decisions. He likes to play the press sometimes against his own players. Reminds me of Mourinho.

I don't recall ever hearing disparaging information on players under Wenger or Emery for that matter. Even when there were serious wrongdoing in the background with characters like Bendtner and even Giroud's infamous affair was played down.

Not really a simple explanation though, is it?

Leaking shiete against his own players to get criticism off his back. The same players that he has to rely on to produce results to get the criticism off his back...

Hearing it from Wenger/Emery or hearing it at all?

One of the many criticisms of Wenger in the later years was his failure to deal with players. Bendtner, Szczesny and Vela are just 3 who piised their Arsenal careers away with ill-discipline that went un-checked until it was too late.
Strange it is now being put forward as a positive.

πŸ—£ Arsene Wenger: "Not being able to go there...no longer going to the matches, no longer living my passion for the club, was very hard, very brutal. Arsenal was a matter of life and death to me, and without it there were some very lonely, very painful moments." #afc https://t.co/LpLanDoHB5

Szczesney???

Can’t think of anything with Vela either tbh. Or Bendtner before his injuries and his career was already over

You can't think of any indiscipline around Bendtner?

Really?

Aye I remember Szczesney getting caught smoking. Didn’t think anything of it then and don’t now. He’s a keeper

I’m sure you have examples but I can’t think of anything. I remember he had a run in with Danish police or something but don’t even think he was on our books when that happened

Ramsdale
White/Tierney
Sambi/Holding/Partey
Saka/Odegard/Pepe/ESR/PEA

I would go to a classic 2-3-5 formation.

What about Wilshere

posted on 4/9/21

You guys seriously can't remember Wilshere, Vela, Bendtner and Szczesney having discipline issues at Arsenal?!

posted on 4/9/21

Nothing about the oft over weight, unfit, partying with Girøulskis, banned by his national team, Vela?
Nothing about fall out of a club in his pants crashed how many cars Bendtner?
Countless indiscipline from all 3 that Wenger protected until it was too late?

Selective memory, Bats?

Proof is I the pudding...

It is well documented from many sources anyway.

As for Emery, balloon parties and open mocking from many players enough to suggest he lost control and respect?
