Nothing about the oft over weight, unfit, partying with Girøulskis, banned by his national team, Vela?
Nothing about fall out of a club in his pants crashed how many cars Bendtner?
Countless indiscipline from all 3 that Wenger protected until it was too late?
Selective memory, Bats?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I didn’t remember those incidents so had to Google them. So the Bendtner incident happened in 2014, after 2 loan spells away from Arsenal and he had already been exiled from the Arsenal squad, and was released 2 months later. As for the Vela stuff, didn’t happen at Arsenal so...selective memory or rewriting history?
Wenger did discipline our players too when they deserved to be. I seem to remember Szczesney getting dropped after the smoking in the showers thing came out.
Artitler only punished people he didn’t like. Gwen brags to some guy about how much money he earns and gets exiled but Willian is free to fly to the Middle East for a mid season vacation and was back in the squad the next week
Willian said him and Arteta fell out early on, the timing suggests it was exactly for that
J99s point was that Arteta is Mourinho style briefing against some of his players though
I don't think the argument about discipline problems with different managers fits
Bendtners autobiography talks alot about his heavy drinking and gambling during his time at Arsenal:
He describes his accommodation, a penthouse apartment in the city, as a "full-on playboy mansion". A run of four nights out in a row "isn't unusual", he says. His £35,000-a-month wages "quickly grow wings and disappear".
The thrill of the casino became a substitute for the adrenaline of playing. "It feels like scoring against Spurs in front of 60,000 crazy Gooners," he says in the book of winning £220,000 during a night of high-stakes poker at Les Ambassadeurs Club in Mayfair.
Bendtners car crash happened in 2010 when he was at Arsenal all season.
Carlos Vela incident happened in September 2010, when he had a rare spell at Arsenal. Mexico punished him, Mr Wenger seemingly a bit more lenient?
Artitler has ridiculed some of our players though. Auba the obvious example. The like of AMN, Saliba and Gwen had all experienced his ‘tough love’ too. I don’t remember Wenger doing anything like that.
And even though Wenger wasn’t this mega disciplinarian I can’t remember so much negativity coming out of the club when he was in charged in comparison to what we’ve seen during Artitler’s short time here
Of course, players aren't going to complain when they do what they like.
Same with any walk of life, if you get away with it you will do it more, until it is beyond the point of no return.
Since when does crashing a car come from a lack of discipline
You were talking about a completely different incident when Bendtner was already looking for a different club.
I’d like to know more about this Vela ‘incident’ as I can’t find anything on Google
Cesc refusing to play. RvP writing a letter to force a move. Nasri, Sagna, Adebayor...
All treated Wenger like shiiit. Yeah, they weren't negative about him, just walked all over him.
Player wants to leave club is now a sign of ill discipline. Keep clutching
Bendtner leaving the nightclub with his trousers round his ankles was 2009 as well. Very much at Arsenal. Around the same time he had an on pitch fight with Adebayor.
Wanting to leave the club? No, how they forced their moves is the problem. Something you have criticised them for in the past...

And completely irrelevant to the topic at hand.
Did Bendtner say in his biography that Wenger was aware of his gambling and drinking?

How is faking injury, getting into fights with teammates, disrespecting the manager and the club irrelevant to bad discipline
It was Adebayor who got in the fight with Bendtner and told him he was shiiiit,
Also guess what, team mates argue.

Yeah, Adebayor. Another great example of ill-disciplined players getting away with too much at Arsenal under Wenger.
In the May, he was pictured leaving Boujis nightclub in Kensington, London, at 4am, looking worse for wear with his belt undone and his jeans around his ankles.
A few hours earlier he'd played the final half hour as the Gunners were beaten 3-1 at home by Manchester United in a Champions League semi-final.
He later apologised, saying: "I may be young, but my actions were a poor error of judgment and something I deeply regret. I want to apologise to the club and the fans for letting them and myself down."
