Both those issues stem from the coaching standard. I assume that after his promotion Arteta is less involved in whats happening in training day to day. So I gave him a little benefit of the doubt. Just like what I used to give Wenger in his later days. However Arteta is responsible for those employed under him so I still apply the same standard to him that I did to Wenger when I was Wenger out in his final 5 years.
Lex comparing the invincibles to a team who can't qualify for Europe again.
J99 comparing the training intensity of a successful and unsuccessful period of Arsenal's history, and, somewhat embarrassingly, finding out there are similarities between the two

But I am not. I never brought up Wenger.
But you accept that was a successful period for Arsenal?
Which featured 'intense' training.

Yes.
Do you also accept that Royce Balogun might have 'an agenda' in protecting his client, and that, as DJ has pointed out, Feyenoord have many other injuries atm?
Lex. Before you go down the conspiracy road do you accept our leagues position for the last two seasons incl not qualifying for Europe has not been good enough. On top do accept that our quality of play and results have not been good enough this season?
Now if you do. There is something going wrong at Arsenal. Doesn't then, any information that comes out about what maybe going wrong, considered more likely truth than agenda?
At some point, someone is going to have to accept something

'Before you go down the conspiracy road'
I mean... just an unbelievable comment coming for you, mate.
Thats what you are doing believing in hidden agendas rather than taking their word for it.
At least J99 accepts intense training isn't always a bad thing.
At least I think he does

Sorry if I try to remain a bit more reasoned with mine.
Royce on his brothers performance versus Brentford:
‘It was a good game for him, it was a baptism of fire, I think it was something he needed, he needed to see that this is the level. I think him going through that really showed he’s just started, it’s just the beginning, there’s always the next step, to me you’ve never made it until you retire, until you’re finished and you can sign off and say, ‘this is my career, my stats, my numbers’, that’s when you can see you’ve made it, you’ve done your career.
‘It was a baptism, he really learnt it was not Under-23s, these are people who are really going for it, they want your head, even the way they were dragging him about you could tell.
‘After the game you could really tell he was angry. He wasn’t panicking, it was more, ‘I need to step up’, the next day he was angry but he was like, ‘we go again, we go to the training ground and we keep going. It’s tough being in that limelight, and especially with that kind of fame.'
"Whenever I talk to Folarin I tell him to keep going but the system just doesn’t really work at the moment.
Soon it will work, there will be a movement and you’ve got to be ready when it does."
So, when you read what Royce says, you realise Fola admits himself it was a bigger step up than he thought, he wasn't ready for it.
Also, while Royce says the tactics don't suit the striker, be it Fola or Auba, he is confident it will work in the long term.
It definitely isn't an attack on the way his brother is being developed.

I think you confused something I posted. I am not being critical of intense training that we had under Wenger. I am being critical of not training intensely under Arteta that the Arne Slot said.
Speaking about Nelson, Arne Slot said: “Nelson had participated in almost all training sessions at Arsenal, but he experiences the training here as a bit more intense.

Do you not see both those things are interlinked. If Balogun continues to lose confidence will affect his development. Of course has brother has to believe he will come good. But we have a lot of younger players now. And looking at our coaches CVs do you have confidence in them to develop them properly?
Continues to lose confidence? Did you read Royce's comments? He is even more determined now.
