what are the chances we'll wake up to the news Auba has failed his medical.. or pi$sed them off already so they pulled the plug

Hope Ramsay does well up there. He was a talent, at some points looked like he could become great (others not so much) but in the end he never fully recovered from the assault at Stoke.

now he's gone I wonder if we'll now find out all the misdemeanours Auba was up to

Seems like many incidents that are minor in insolation but unacceptable when all combined. Apparently this sort of stuff goes back way before his time with Arsenal too.
However when you're producing on the pitch it's very different to when you're not and happen to be on incredibly high wages and that's really I think what makes the difference here

So what does it say about the Kroenke's faith in Arteta?
We are weaker now than the start of the season and it was a self inflicted wound.

He is right. Every dropped points, every lost game will create a toxic atmosphere because of the way this window went. That was very unnecessary self harming.
I don't mind Arteta falling out with players and moving on. Thats every managers right. What annoys me is his total lack of connective thinking. Arteta gave Auba a new contract knowing full well how Auba behaves. This was not a new player.
Then if you have decided to move on at least don't make the situation untenable till you have a replacement.
And the fact that Auba got a new club pretty easily, and not a small irrelevent one in Saudi Arabia shows that we could have moved Auba on AT ANY TIME. Last summer, for example and bought a replacement.
This cannot be excused with 'inexperience' rubbish. This is just wilful incompetence by Arteta and Edu.
‘So what does it say about the Kroenke's faith in Arteta?’
£50m+ bid for a striker Arteta wanted, versus knocking back a loan move for a midfielder Edu wanted.
Sure you’re asking the right questions?

They did not bid for Vlahovic because Vlahovic's agents refused to talk to us. He is considered the hottest prospect in Europe and was only gettable now because of prospective moves of Mbappe, Haaland in the summer.
How much was the move on the say so of Arteta is debatable for the very reason we did not go for another striker when he said no. Keep in mind both Laca and Eddie are also moving from Arsenal in the summer to leave no strikers.
Clear out before the summer madness. Be excited
And it could very well be that Kroenke's want a new manager at the helm when we will need to spend. And spend big.
