Emery wasn't right for Arsenal but he's still a top manager. I wonder why he didn't take the Newcastle job though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Didn't want another job with pressure to achieve.
He doesn’t want to work for murderers
Emery was ahead of the curve by getting rid of all of our creative players? Nonsense.
Situation wasn't resolved until ESR came in v Chelsea. That's when we started making real progress.

Emi just won the world cup pp. I don't think he needs our advice.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And so, he should still be humble, his antics since the win were classless
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I doubt he cares. He won the world cup at the end not Messi. Argies recognise that and I am sure so do a host of clubs bigger than Aston Villa.
Emery deserves all credit for driving forward the idea of going young. But it was really the directors who took it on after getting rid of Sanllehi.
It took a lot of gumption by Kroenkes to invite Wenger. It worked out perfectly for them. I wonder if they discussed an ambassadorial role for him.

Yeah, because it doesn't suit their arguments. Convenient that.
Do you mean this, Tu?
"Freddie Ljungberg, who currently leads our under-23s, will become assistant first-team coach. We are delighted with the impact Freddie has made in helping to develop our young players into the first team and he fully deserves this promotion. Alongside his new coaching responsibilities, Freddie will have a strong focus on the young players who are moving into the first team group."

Yes. Before actually getting rid of him and bringing in good players like Odegaard. Not Denis Suarez on loan.
"Our goal is to create a ‘transition team’ which will collectively manage a player’s development through some of the hardest and most challenging periods of their professional lives. The aim is to create a clear framework for our young players to fulfil their potential at the highest level.
Steve Bould will lead our under-23 team as well as oversee the under-23 and under-18 phase programme with academy manager Per Mertesacker. Alongside his new under-23 head coach responsibilities, Steve will work with Freddie to determine how players transition between the academy and first team to ensure our players are exposed to the right challenges at the right time."
