I know there's 0% chance of this happening but imagine if Man City somehow fail to beat West Ham and we get the job done against Everton and win the league. How will those Spurs fans that wanted them to lose against Man City then feel? It would be hilarious.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You take football way too seriously. If that happened, I wouldn’t give a feck about Spurs or their fans. It would be our first title in 20 years. Why not enjoy it instead of getting wound up
No ‘real’ Arsenal fan wants Arteta to leave. He is far from perfect but the progress is clear every season (apart from his 1st full season which he was fortunate to recover from). The only people who want Arteta to leave are Spurs fans (and most United fans are oddly obsessed with him too)
This season is arguably the best manager performance for us since..........2003/04 lol ?
Yea it is but it just shows how shiiiite we have been over the last 20 years

That is true but Wenger wasnt really competing with a side even close to this City team. He lost the league to Leicester.
For the first time ever I think I feel a bit sorry for Liverpool and them doing it for years.
They need to clear up their 115 charges thing. they can't let it linger for longer, either they are innocent or guilty

You only play whats infront of you. Sure the Leicester team wasn't great on paper but as a combo for one season they played better than everyone in the league. Could the manager have done anything different? That season we had a similar striker problem. Giroud stopped scoring for a 6 month period and this season we only really started to function properly when Havertz moved to striker position and Rice moved to no.8 position.

In fact, when you are this close and the margins are so tight, almost everything has to be perfect. The real question is did City drop a bit, or did we get better?

I mean, I guess my point was that like Liverpool fans say, against a "normal" team without limitless cash and resources, we win the league twice in a row.
The criticism of Arteta buying Havertz probably remains, he's done pretty well upfront but it's hard to see us failing to score in the games we did with a killer in there, but who knows?

Yeah, by the end of last season my respect for what Klopp had done with Liverpool grew massively.
I seem to be in the minority of rival fans that will actually miss him. Think the PL will miss him too.
There is an argument that Klopp has ridden Allison, VVD and Salah to the end. He never replaced Mane and that is why they were not near challenging City after they won it.
nah, I won't miss him, good riddance, but my respect for Klopp went up this season actually. With the amount of injuries with glaring holes in the squad and to be challenging for the PL like he did this year was just amazing.
I personally don't think he left Liverpool with a good squad but we will see.
Michael Edwards leaving was big. He was responsible for all the great signings Liverpool made. Klopp signed the likes of Nunez, Gakpo etc.

Good point. And it's not always certain you can ever repeat it even if he had still been involved. That's why I credit Dein so much. He built a team with Graham in charge and then twice with Wenger. And we've done nothing till Edu/Arteta.

Why? United had even more injuries throughout this season. Liverpool had their main player available.
I've always said, including when we use to have loads, there's very little luck involved when it comes to injuries. OK you cant plan for a leg breaker tackle but I don't think thats an excuse for Kloppo. He runs his players into the ground, and sticks by players who are clearly broken (The Ox, Thiago) for way too long. Not a surprise he always leaves his clubs looking knackered, but yeah he did a great job this season in terms of rebuilding that midfield.
