Annoying that Man City had a period in November and December where they had 1 win in 6 league games. Then decide to be faaaacking caaants going on an insane unbeaten run.

I don't think they've really regressed, they might not have played quite as impressively but I think they're on their longest ever unbeaten run aren't they?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Astonishing rise of Arsenal then. Our issues have been glaring. How do City improve?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
replace KDB and Walker
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thats not improving. Just look at De Bruyne stats in the few games he has played after injury!
I think we are very close but I still would say that City still has a better squad, we still rely on the same players
Replacing Silva will probably be tough for them. They'll probably need some more midfield depth with KDB at the age he is and an over reliance on Rodri.
Other than that I don't see any glaring weaknesses.

City don't have to improve. This season was meant to be a hangover season, and they soon got over it. Expect them to be 90+ again next season
I still think we need an alternative to Odegaard, he just can't play that many games next season

Losing his experince in the dressing room on top of Gundogan and Mahrez last season already made them vulnerable this season compared to last. I just don't see how you can replace one of the greatest players ever to play in the prem.

4 in a row was proper motivation.
I mean Foden was doing a pretty good job before KDB came back and since playing together they've been putting up ridiculous numbers.
I imagine Foden will continue to step into that role and they'll sign someone else to integrate in over the next year.
Doesn't have the same ring as doing that the first time. And hopefully they will be relegated this summer anyway.

Foden went completely missing in our game. Easier to defend if you cut of his supply.
Very few teams can do that though, we are the exception to the rule.
Hopefully more teams will crop that chaaaav pr11ck regularly next season.
Arguably the biggest difference between us and City this season is they failed to score in just 1 game outside our meetings. We failed to score in 4 - and lost them all.
Scoring more than them is nice - but it would have been better if we spread them out across 3 or 4 more games...

Yeah, defo been one of our glaring issues. We did well at spreading the goals around, but Jesus and Nketiah have been absolutely useless as goalscorers this season and Havertz still can't be relied on to be clinical even if he has improved a lot
Just realised we haven't scored more than them anymore
City usually take 6 points off us easily. They dropped 5 Vs us this season, if they had gained them instead they'd finish on 96 points.
They are still the same team really. They just have 2 teams on their level now, not just Liverpool.
Our final game is on BT. seriously, fack them.
I don't know anything about Benjamin Sesko, but if we are interested in him, you'd have to think (hope at least) he'd be an improvement on Nketiah.
Hopefully we also sign a wide forward this summer to rotate Martinelli (Nico Williams?). Unless we get a decent offer for Jesus, I would personally keep him as a wide rotation option to Saka, and sell Nelson.
Havertz will start next season as first choice CF, and with more confidence than he started this season, we'll feel more potent attack-wise next season.
Martinelli is in the only position with actual rotation. You selling Trossard?
