I was speculating in the summer that we are so over reliant on Saka for both creativity and goals. Ode and Marti both needed bounce back seasons on top of Havertz/Jesus 15-20 goals. Doesn't look close to happening.

Sign Gyokeres and a midfielder and we're pretty much sorted barring injuries!

That is also bollox. He is responsible for not reacting earlier in games. Look, Trossard could have been subbed after 30 min in the Newcastle game. His body language and what we seen from him in 30 min. suggested he wouldnt improve. Only one example.

However, Arteta can´t influence players performance on that day.

In fact, I wish we could counter-attack with pace, that was central to Jose's tactics.

So in the next 2 games, how attacking do you actually think we will go?I don't see us scoring in Italy as it's going to be a similar approach to the Atalanta game (no shots on target).

And Chelsea will be exactly how we set up v spurs and City away.

Because Arteta played 4-4-2 crap when he first got to Arsenal because from his own mouth 'we didn't have the players to play like City'. And he reverted to that chit as soon as Odegaard was injured rather that trying Ethan in Odegaard position or even Saka inside of a winger. Arteta probably fecked up our title chances with that. But I have learnt that Arteta does eventually figure it out. So I hope he has binned that 4-4-2 chit. Even if only for Odegaard to come back into a team thats playing attacking stuff again.
