Whats the reason Sterling is still not fit despite having no injuries (that I remember anyway) and being 3 months into the season?!

Ask Chelsea. They have a whole raft of players not training with the first team.

Have to still keep in mind that Sterling is on loan. Martinelli will still need to be sold if he can't return to form.

Real shame about Marti, looked like he was set to explode a couple of seasons ago, I had hoped he'd turn into an unstoppable winger but has regressed massively

It will be very interesting to see who replaces Edu. Some players are probably holding their breath today. £500m+ spent and how many are indispensable? Saka, Ode, Saliba? I am not sure Rice can be included, and he cost a fortune.

Raya, Saliba, Rice, Ode, Saka are pretty much nailed on for the next 5 years you'd think, assuming they dont want to leave

Timing says a lot about these moves. James King was appointed in Oct. He is a non football man, so I think he is going to do a different role but can fill in the interim. Negotiations for Jan targets have to start now.

Disagree with this, Chris.

Whilst most people have wanted to see us sign a back up for Saka, recent windows have seen us heavily linked with big money moves for the likes of Raphinha, your boy Mudryk, and Nico Williams.

I’d say LW is probably one of the areas we’ve seen most transfer rumours about at Arsenal.

True yeah but most of those links have been tenuous at best, compared to CM where we clearly were going to sign one one way or another (Zubimendi then Merino it felt like) and Calafiori who we were straight in for.
