Seems like Arteta is now the main man within the arsenal set up as his power grows.

Apparently he is untouchable and unchallenged within the club

So what do we do if we lose both games which is a very big possibility?

For me, we need to see a performance v Milan. Not a defensive set up where we barely get into their box with zero shots on target.

A performance is required on Wednesday. If we get beat, it will follow through onto the weekend

For me, the league Cup has now become a quite a important competition for Arteta if we lose both of our next 2 games

For me it would still be ‘Raheem Sterling important’. Come January, assuming we’re still in it, we’d have a 2 leg semi final, plus potentially an extra 2 play off games in the CL.

We will need to utilise the full squad to compete. No way we should be binning either competition off. Nor the league.

Whilst most people have wanted to see us sign a back up for Saka, recent windows have seen us heavily linked with big money moves for the likes of Raphinha, your boy Mudryk, and Nico Williams.

I’d say LW is probably one of the areas we’ve seen most transfer rumours about at Arsenal.

I think that's fair enough though, as much ability as Marti has shown he's nowhere near Saka and the obvious weak link along the frontline. Makes sense to look to replace him first and foremost with someone who can play both flanks.

For anything to change we have to get Ode back playing.

When did Arsenal last go 4 league games without a win?
Take out the Preston game, and it could be 5 games after Chelsea. Castor?

I know martinelli scored lots of goals a few seasons ago but I do think the Arteta set up doesn't really allow the wingers to really flourish.

Your constantly up against 2 defenders and you have zero support from your Left back.

Any new winger we get is going to have the same issues

It's defo a problem more complex than Martinelli being bad, the whole left side needs more ability and more consistency but that still doesn't excuse some of the stuff we've seen from him lately.

As for everyone that wanted to Nico Williams. The guy is bang average and would have been far more frustrating than Martinelli

If Edu is leaving for Forest, should the club put him on gardening leave immediately?
