I think this was Arsenal's decision. James King was appointed recently, and I think it was time for some house cleaning.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was all about Martinelli. Arteta wanted him replaced last summer and Edu didn't.

I suspect Arteta won and this was going to happen after he extended. Lets see who they approach. If Txiki is interested, it really is too good an opportunity to pass up.

Not sure about this, doesn't seem to be a shred of evidence to support it. Arteta plays him mostly regardless of form

There have been plenty of differences between Arteta and Edu and I don't believe this will not come out of the blue to Arteta. Especially after only extending his contract a few months ago.

James King will probably act as an interim to the new man. I really do hope its Txiki.

Arteta has been singling Martinelli out in recent post match interviews tbh.

Don't think it's all because of Martinelli, but could be the straw that broke the camels back
