I think it’s probably a lot easier to sell a loan move to a player in a positive way within the post-PSR world than you’d think.

We did it with Raya.

Buying a sesko alone will not be enough.

We need 2 attacking players this windows with a forward being able to play on the right side
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Saka injury aside I'd have thought a forward on the left would have been a better call?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Trossard, Martinelli and Sterling are all better on the left. Nwaneri isn't a bad option to have on the right but against a physical and quick left back, he will struggle.

A striker and a saka replacement is required
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But you want Rashford, who is neither of these things.

Yeah but Raya would have had assurances from the GK coach that I don't think anyone else would really get.

Rashford is worse than Martinelli, I'm surprised that Castor wants him

----------------------------------------------------------------------

"it's understood a January swoop is not currently on the agenda"

"[his] contract runs until the summer of 2029 and does not contain a release clause"

"Leipzig does not want to sell Benjamin Sesko"

So it's only media speculation.

Any striker worth bothering with coming to Arsenal wouldn’t need written assurances from us.

Plus, I think we’re forgetting the self-confidence/ego of professional footballers - also known to Arsenal fans as ‘big character’ - gives them a completely different perspective on what a club showing interest in them, loan or otherwise, might mean.

At least, he has a release clause, but I can't see Asenal pay £ 83m now.

The Times states that "it is understood that the Sweden international has a gentleman’s agreement with Sporting to allow the player to leave next summer for a lower fee" and that "Sporting could accept a bid of between €75million-85million for Gyokeres."

Yeah but if you're gonna have options, which I imagine he will, who do you go for? The flaky team who want an option or the team who hands down wanna make you their main man?

Especially if his agent is talking about the best move being the one that gives him the best platform for growth - you need some stability for that and an option does not guarantee that.

What is worth a gentleman's agreement in football? Especially when you know the buyer is desperate for a striker.

Doubt we are actually in for any of vlahovic, sesko and gyokeres.
