I am suprised that Daily Fail says that Özil has done his hamstring. He held his knee when he came off yesterday and he was treated on his knee with ice spray. We will have to wait....

No he won't!

He'll be running again in 4 weeks. Out for another 5 months in 6 weeks.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nah, he will be fine once he's back. No need to rush him anymore or over playing him.
He'll win us the CL! Bookmarked
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Diaby will never be fine. Because of the imbalance of his legs, he will always be injury prone. It's an injury that's got gradually worse with every injury.

Even now, with our midfield options, and even when we can pick and choose when to play Diaby, he will always be likely to pick up that injury ruling him out for 6 months. He is finished. Sooner he realises it, the better.

Not Wumming, but if Giroud is still our number 1 striker after January, we won't be winning much.

As long as Aaron stays fit...

Not sure any club would be willing to selling us a strikers in January. At least not one whom is good enough to be ahead of Giroud.

posted on 16/10/13

Doesn't matter. If he goes injured, we have Rosicky, Arteta and Wilshere to slot in his place.

Spot on. Only top quality striker i can see moving is Lewandowski, and only if Bayern no longer want him and only if Lewan still won't stay with Dortmund.

Other than that, there is Jackson Martinez. He has a release Clause. I haven't seen him play. Chris raves on about him.

The thing now is that we have Özil so we are attractive enough. Any good striker would dream to play in front of him but not sure how much Wenger is willing to pay to get someone like Lewo or Martinez

Cant see Lewand going in January, Serial. Why would Dortmund let him go. They will go with him till the end....Would be suprised if Lewand leaves Dortmund in January.

Or Benzema ??? Maybe there is some truth in recent reports about him.

------------------------------------

Well the only reason Dortmund haven't got rid already is because the player wants to go to Bayern, and there's no chance that Dortmund would let him.

SO, if Bayern decide they don't want him, and a club offered Dortmund £20m for Lewandowski, that would be better than letting him go on a free.

Not saying they will. But if you don't buy a lottery ticket...

not sure if Wenger likes the idea to have a direct competition between Giroud/Benezma at Arsenal.

What's wrong with competition?

Could be a szenario though...bit too many ifs if you ask me. The German media think Lewan will move to Bayern in contrary to recent english media reports.

Absolute nothing. Its important to have competition in every position. But the two have direct competition in the French national team too and dont know if Wenger likes the idea.

I don't want Benzema at Arsenal. End off!
I don't care how good he is or if he is WC blablabla .....
For once in a long time, we don't have a lazy player at Arsenal and I'd like us to keep it that way.
Against WBA, we didn't play particularly well but every single players on the pitch worked his ar$e off. It was really good to see that for a change!

posted on 16/10/13

Yeah but the French national team are a completely different kind of team and play in a completely different style to Arsenal. You can equate the two.

I don't understand this mentality. "Blah blah i don't want this World Class player here because...etc".

You really don't want your squad to be improved IAWT??

Giroud is ahead of Benzema right now and rightly so. Benzema didn't score a single goal over a 1000 or so minutes as starter. Since he has been benched, he scored 2 out of 2! The guy should be benched.

I watched the France yesterday or at least most of it and I have to say France is not playing as a unit. Some players are too selfish. Instead of passing the ball they tried to score a wonder goal like Podga, Debuchy and another idiot I have forgotten who it was tried. The crosses went in nowhwere's land and they lack creativity in midfield.

And this is the problem with international football. Too many players try to be heroes of the nation and want to be the one who got them through to the next round. There's no interplay, teamwork, creativity.

Take Sturridge. Top class at Liverpool, greedy fúck at England.
