Yeah but the French national team are a completely different kind of team and play in a completely different style to Arsenal. You can equate the two.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Giroud is ahead of Benzema right now and rightly so. Benzema didn't score a single goal over a 1000 or so minutes as starter. Since he has been benched, he scored 2 out of 2! The guy should be benched.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I watched the France yesterday or at least most of it and I have to say France is not playing as a unit. Some players are too selfish. Instead of passing the ball they tried to score a wonder goal like Podga, Debuchy and another idiot I have forgotten who it was tried. The crosses went in nowhwere's land and they lack creativity in midfield.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We don't have a proper number 10 or a decent creative midfield and this is our problem. If you look at the past, France always performed better when they had a proper number 10! Our defence is not bad and we do have good wingers but nothing from a more central position. And I can't see that changing before the World Cup unfortunately.

True but never said we were. The WC will take place in summer next year regardless of France being there or not, so it still can be used as a time frame!

Is saying "you are not at the WC yet" right or wrong. Only asking
Actually if you look at the French squad, they even have decent players for the deep playing position. Matuidi, Cabaye, Pogba are decent players. It is just the men to play just in front of them who are missing.
Quite ironic from the country that produced the like of Zidane and Platini......
What, like you don't have Ribery, Grenier, Valbuena, Cabella??

Capella is rubbish, stop listening to the Spurs fans.
Ribery and Valbuena are more wingers and are better playing wide.
It is too soon for Grenier, he will good for the Euro 16 but not ready for the WC (if France qualify)
They even tried Nasri in the number 10 position last week and it was painful to watch.
You mean Cabella...as in Remi Cabella? That's who i meant anyway. Is he even French??

My bad, I thought you mean Capoue.
Remy is not even in the current squad and don't know why, but I guess there is a good reason. He's been linked with a move to ManU in January but not sure if it will happen.
Talking of Valbuena....He was weak yesterday. Whenever I saw him he impressed me. Yesterday was one of these day. Dissappointing in my view. What do you think IAWT?

To be honest. What I saw of Pogba didnt impresses me either. Very selfish player. Dont rate Matuidi either.

I didn't see the yesterday game yet GT! Was dropping the missus at the airport. But our attack is mainly based from our wingers since the middle is c.rap. It is fine for someone like Ribery whom is a class above but it can be of an issue for someone like Valbuena if they have a bad day. It is too much asking of them.
Matuidi is a good player. Doing rather well for PSG.
Spot on again IAWT. France depending on their wingers at the moment. All too predictable. That is why they struggle against the smaller countries especially in their away games.
So if France haven't got got anyone to play as number 10, and then there's this young prospect called Grenier, why don't they just play him?

Because on the paper, the like of Nasri and Ben Harfa should be better. The problem with these two is that they don't understand the basic principle of a playmaker. Instead of playing for the team and trying to make it click, they want the team to play for them.
And it would take a controversial manager to drop them, unfortunately, that's what we need. Someone who would have the balls to take full responsibility of the decision they make.
Aime Jacquet did that when he took charge prior to the 98 World Cup and the press almost wanted his head- off. But he stood by his decisions and delivered at the end. He wasn't popular at all when started but then he won the country over.
IAWT, you should take over the French national team. Deschamp not the right man I feel. He is too soft...
This is how i see the best french team
------------------------Lolris-------------------------
---Sagna-----Kosc-------Mexes----Evra-----
------------------Pogba---Matuidi----------------
-----------------------Grenier-----------------------
----Cabella----------------------------Ribery-----
------------------------Giroud------------------------
That is fúcking decent. How can you fail with that??
Ok, replace Mexes with Sakho.
But, tbh, Diaby will be fit for the WC (if you make it), and then you'll be world class.

His attitude might change if we qualify. In fairness. He has already dropped Benzema, which is a big step forward (although he should have done it 2 month ago)
