Spurs were shockingly bad, we were 3 levels above em first half. then they scored 2 lucky goals and killed the game. we gifted them the game, they didn't win it.

Shockingly bad? Yet we didn't look like scoring ourselves in the first half and they still beat us with ease? Your are seriously deluded/blinded by your lover for all things Wenger.

Overall chances was pretty much even.

Draw would have been a fair result, we gifted them 2 goals.

I really hope that takeover stuff is true, cause if we're in the Europa the only way is down

What we really need is for Wenger to walk in the Summer. That is the most important thing that can happen.

"We had far more of the play."

All tiki taka passes. Nothing happening.

"Did you really think they were that good? To me, we were easily the better team for the first half an hour and would've been a goal or two up if we had decent strikers. The fact that we go all kamikaze and gift them two goals says more about us than it does them.

We're just an average team and club as a whole with zero ambition."

Tottenham weren't unbelievable, per say, yes. But do you need to be that to beat Arsenal these days?

All you have to do really, is pressure them a little, sit back and pick 'em off on the break.
Very simple. Anyone can do it against us.

What needs to happen is new Arsenal owners and a new manager.

As I said before, the team selection was wrong from the start and Wenger put on the right players but took off the wrong players. The defending I'd rather not talk about because it was just so comical. You'd expect that in the Championship or League One, this is the highest level of football we're talking about.

How do the defenders not know to track the run of the man you are marking? And Vermaelen Anticipation was absolutely shocking, he did not look up or around him for either of the goals and for Bale's opener, he did not see Bale slipping in. No. Instead he decides to take a few steps forward for some senseless reason and then we're a goal down.

Nacho obviously at fault for the second goal, but if we're going to persist with this high line, we need to press all over the pitch and we didn't.

Wilshere looked drained of energy, Cazorla didn't do much, Giroud was hopeless, Ramsey was ok, but his decision making is still too slow, Arteta was a passenger, Jenkinson did well, Walcott was non-existent too, Szczsney needs to know when to come off his line.

All in all, it was just a calamity from start to finish. As soon as I saw the team selection, I knew our best chance of getting a result would be a draw.

was their game plan to get dominated and outplayed by us and get gifted 2 goals if so then yeah good gameplan

Would you guys actually miss the Champions League purely from a football point of view and not money? All you do is waltz the group stages, usually have an injury in the last meaningless group game away at someone like Olympiakos because you're already through, then get knocked out in one of the first 2 big hurdles after that. It's a bit predictable

A fresh start.

For me Spurs looked vulnerable like you say 50P. If we'd had a quicker striker e.g. Theo/Pod starting we'd have won

This is a total refusal of the fact that your team is not very good, wenger suffers the same tunnel vision.

Nah, I'd rather that isn't the case as I believe it's the arabs that want to takeover and that could go either way, Become mercenary City or become a Malaga possibly.

This is the silliest of all article Dubbed. Which game did you watch bloody hell. We were all over them in the first half. They didnt create anything out of play. We pressed them not the other way around.

It probably was actually, everybody knows we can't defend. Spurs scoring first was SOOOOOOOOOOO obvious.

I won't even bother with you.
Is Wenger your father or something? Do share a bed with him?

What's with with this blinkered and deluded views on things?

Just delete him Dubbed, he really isn't worth replying to. Don't know why I did it.

Oh dear Gunnerthru. You're like a shire horse with blinkers on.

Didn't create anything out of play? Apart from 2 goals and three good chances 2nd half from 'open' play.

You're usually one of the more level headed and balanced posters on here.

We pressed them?
They didn't create nothing out of play?
They were through on goal around 3-4 times (counting the goals).

I think the only way top get top 4 is hope for Chelsea to seriously feck themselves up.

first half everyone on the match thread was saying how well we are playing and dominating. but now that we lost we need to make out like we played awful because it better supports the slating of the team/players/manager.

GT is the only one with his eyes open

Dubbed, ffs. 8bit is absolute spot on here. We were all over them. What game did you watch? We shot ourselve in the foot again within 2 minutes. They werent near our box at all in the first half. I that was 0-0 at HT we would have won or at least draw this. Fact.
