8bit, we passed the ball around well, but we had two good chances in the first half and that was in the first 20 minutes. That was it. Second half, we passed the ball around well again, but we looked vulnerable on the counter, lost our shape at times and there was very little movement from anyone.

People say we deserved more from the game, but apart from nice flicks and some pretty passing, did Lloris have any saves to make?

We didn't even play well We dominated possession but we didn't play well, read the comments on Pete's match thread (if you can be bothered), we both knew after 5 minutes that we would concede the first goal because unlike Spurs we cannot defend and unlike Spurs we cannot score when it matters.

AVB did what every other team tries to do..condense the middle of the pitch but Spurs were better in one thing today and that was pressing.

I know a lot of people say missing out on the Champions League would be a disaster, but I'm actually beginning to think it might be a neccesary evil. It might finalise galvanise the club into some sort of positive action.
